    • Ultimately, you are judged by the results you produce. Unquestionably, Woody has not produced a winning or effective franchise during his tenure as ownership. Bad decisions (mostly) at GM, (Mostly Rookie, Mostly D-Co) Head Coaches and bust QB for over 20 years now have made this franchise the butt of jokes, as bad or worse than anything that came under the inept Hess Era. 168-219 is nothing to hang a hat on. But it's really a tale of two halves, 2000-2010 and 2011-2023. 2000-2010 was perhaps the best era in Jets history.  91-85 record, 8 winning seasons out of 11 years, 6 playoff seasons incld. two AFCCG's in 11 years.  No other era of Jets football matches this level of mostly consistent winning. 2011-2023 is the exact reverse, the worst era in our history.  77-134 record, 1 measly winning season in 13 years, no playoff appearances in 13 years.  Double-digit loss seasons 9 of 13 years.  No other era of Jets football matches this level of pathetic results. It's a dark look forward at this point, a franchise moving backwards and stuck in a VERY long rut of failure and ineptitude, with little to be optimistic about long term, and really only a few things that inspire even in the short term as of today. But I don't buy into the "can never win as along as he's Owner", because we did, in fact, win quite a bit while he was Owner, early on. But Woody has to learn, and make better decisions, and hire the right people.  And it's hard to be optimistic that he will do that.
    • You don’t see how the owner not caring about winning would cloud his judgement ? Woodys primary focus this year is the election .
    • That would be a legitimate complaint on Woody's part.  Saleh has been a HC for 3 years now, yet he still speaks and acts like he's a DC. It's absolutely ridiculous at this point that Saleh still acts this way.  If he wants to be a DC then "re-sign" with the Jets and go back to the 49ers as their DC (or where ever he can find a job).
