Too early to say. You can't make those determinations while Jalen Saunders still has practice squad eligibility.

To further your point, look at the Patriots OL. Nate Solder out for the year. Ryan Wendell hasn't played. Stork is on the IR-DFR with a nasty concussion. They are starting 2 rookies, Tre Jackson and undrafted David Andrews at center. That line sucks from ship to stern. And yet Tom Brady is hugely productive. It's the QB getting rid of the ball that helps the OL. Geno was a disgrace last year, sitting back there forever, burping the baby.

Most likely because with your anticipated move to Singapore, you are now viewed as a traitor to the United States.

So pumped!!!!! Such a great win. To overcome the slide BS and still win that series, winning 3 games when Kershaw and Greinke pitched 4 of the 5, just awesome!!!! Now lets go beat the Cubbies!!!

FWIW - and not like it matters but Fitz basically said he doesnt talk to Bowles. He's never in any of their meetings and they dont talk week to week about the game or even in the film room. That basically Gailey goes over the game plan with Bowles and then Gailey tells Fitz what tweaks they're making or what feedback Bowles had on the game plan. Basically said Gailey is a conduit to the Head Coach. I know everyone wants that Head Coach that is all knowing on both sides of the ball but that person doesnt exist.

this is another opportunity to appreciate how Brick is a stalwart. Some say he's in decline. All he does is start every game and lock down the other team's #1 DE, week in and week out, for a decade straight.

"So I went up to Jeff [Weeks] and I say, boy I tell ya, we need to get it to Watkins more. Too bad they've got that sign on the door that says 'Offensive meeting in progress: Keep out.' I've been meaning to ask Greg about that."

haha - wait till you meet her...she could give a flying ****. Nah, just kidding. She set up this whole weekend around going to the Joe Namath hosted event on Sat. and for us to go the game on Sunday, so she gets it...but adding that to the list might be not be the best idea if I want to keep her around.

I don't think anyone complains about Vick because nobody cares about Vick. He's gone and he was never a long term solution, Geno is still here and some people want him to start because much like Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf, he's got a strong arm.

    " Jets QB Situation Is Clear " ~ ~ ~

Just as many of us predicted in the thread in the face of catcalls, Geno the Genius pulled a dunce move and opened the door for Fitz. Granted most assumed it would be his moronitude manifested on the field, but result is the same: Too dumb to play QB in the N-F-L. Adios muchachos and buenos dias.

Hell yeah. I was on a flight from NJ to Orlando. I saw up to the 5th inning on the plane. Got home and watched the rest and it was nerve racking sh*t. But that's what makes it soooo sweet. BTW, f**k the dodgers.

No he is not RIGHT when he says: "I don't care what's going on over there. I don't care if he's open. When I get one-on-one, just target me" And you know better than that...... Bills fans to their credit are all over this clown! Come on now......

FLORHAM PARK — The CBS news program "60 Minutes" is scheduled to air a segment on Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis on Sunday night. The segment, reported by Armen Keteyian, promises a glimpse into Revis' world, including a visit to his hometown of Aliquippa, Pa., and to the camp in Arizona where Revis trains each summer. Via CBS, here are a few Revis quotes that are expected to air during the segment: • On the definition of "Revis Island"? "It's some place that receivers do not want to go. We bring you over. We boat you back too. It's a vacation." • On whether he is the NFL's best cornerback: "I don't even get into that, but my stats and all of that stuff speaks for itself. And ... the film doesn't lie." • On his lifestyle, despite roughly $100 million in career earnings: "I'm a laid-back guy. ... I'm very simple, it's simplicity with me. Everything else ... the 10 cars or the 20 cars is ... that's ludicrous." • On his willingness to maximize his earning potential: "You got to be willing to take risk. I have five contracts in seven years. That's ... never heard of. If you're the best, you should expect to get paid—to be the best." The "60 Minutes" segment on Revis is slated to air Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. (EDT).

exactly I don't know why any criticism of fitz ends up finger pointing at geno like "he sucks worse!" You don't get to makes excuses for poor play by pointing out another players past failures

Revis was not willing to play for anything less then what hes worth. Good for him. Im glad hes made all of that money. Hes worth every penny.

I like Wilkerson and actually think the board underrates him at this point, but he is no Revis.

Ok I think that your response is fair. I can't hammer Tanny for things I think that he did were wrong without giving him credit for the team's achievements under his tenure.... Fair enough... But Tanny still sucks..... What can I say old habits are hard to die off...

This is a far bigger point than may be given respect for. Bowles is playing Parcells football. It's not only about going out there and scoring, it's about winning the field position battle. Last year we were playing the majority of the games backed up on our side of the field, our opponents were regularly moving the ball on to our side where even if they punted we had terrible field position. We've been winning that battle a lot more now and it shows in the box score.

Seriously. Who ******* cares. It's a simple process: look at how the game is designeddecide if you think you can be competitivejoinor don't joinI don't understand why people are upset over the amount of entries by each individual. It doesn't change their odds. Every entry has the same odds. You can enter once, or you can enter 25 times, each entry has the same odds. I'm no statistician, but entering 25 times I would think gives you more favorable odds of having more teams that finish out of the money, rather than in the money. If you enter 25 teams, you are in it for $250. Which means you have to cash in on about 50% of your entries at the $20 payout just to break even. Altogether possible, but how many times have you gotten to your 3rd or 4th lineup and realized you keep steering towards the same players? If most of his lineups are anchored by the same key players, and they bust, he's not winning anything, and if they hit, he'll do alright. It's his risk. Doesn't effect you at all, because you can enter one time and place higher than his 25 times. I enter 3-5 teams a week, and am up over $1k for this season alone. I put $50 in in week one. I guess what I'm saying is, who cares what other people do... handle your business, collect your money, and smile. Bet on yourself.

If we deleted every post that wasn't true this board would be a barren wasteland. The only thing that would remain would be a few hundred thousand noodle arm and compiler posts lost without their context.

I think Marshall gets underestimated in all this. It isn't that he is open so much as when in doubt they force it to him. So far the results have been good.
  32. 2 points
The O-line is playing better because the QB is playing more crisply. The O-line is playing better because the QB is not hanging them out to dry on almost every play this year. Or we could go with your "analysis" that the O-line is playing better because of magic and it is all just good luck for Fitzpatrick and just plain bad luck for Geno. I leave it to others to determine which of the two is a more reasonable interpretation of the available facts.

I thought he was nuts for pulling Thor after the 7th. We lost a bat with men on because of it and Thor was throwing seven different kinds of smoke. But I guess Collins went with his gut because Familia had a day of rest and his stuff has been so good the past couple months. No question Thor can go game one now too. Proved me completely wrong. How can you not love baseball? Two teams that nobody predicted anything out of are going to battle it out for the pennant. What a game. What a season. What a ******* season.

The only loss came when they went white on white, which is my favorite uniform... however, I like winning more than anything else. So, if the team is superstitious and wants to roll with what works... go for it. Just win.

Baseball fans being mad over a player celebrating is the weirdest thing ever. It's so odd when fans discuss the degree of which a player can be excited and at which point it's excessive. Just think about how dumb that is. Do you get mad when hockey players celebrate or football players? Baseball players and fans need to get over themselves, the baseball field isn't a cemetery, at least not yet.
