  3. 8 teams and 6 make the playoffs. They also play a 19 week season and a 2 week preason, thats brutal!
  4. 56 hour work weeks with one day off until April 15th. A person can make 18k and get 9k back from the fed govt, receive food stamps, free medical care, and live in section 8 housing......and they still complain because Wal-Mart won't cash a check for that amout.
  5. I doubt O'Brien will leave State College
  6. Thanks! I've coached pee-wee, midget, junior high, and high school. The team I coach now is on the midget level. I guess i took it so hard because we were the better team and a bad snap cost us the game.
  7. Cant wait until next season when i install the 46!
  8. I like that he as become accountable and started benching players. It sucks to be out there playing knowing that no matter what you do, a certain player will always be a liability yet they still start every game.
  9. I coached and lost my first playoff game as a football coach on Saturday afternoon. We outplayed the team and gave up less than 100 yds total offense. I've watched my father die in front of me and losing this game was very similar to that experience.
  10. Agreed, but he has all the tools and will be good with some coaching
  11. Allen Robinson from Penn State looks like he can play
  12. Ill take off work for this!
  13. vlad is a D at best!
  14. An example of a hedge would be if you owned a stock, then sold a futures contract stating that you will sell your stock at a set price, therefore avoiding market fluctuations. Investors use this strategy when they are unsure of what the market will do. A perfect hedge reduces your risk to nothing (except for the cost of the hedge). Making an investment to reduce the risk of adverse price movements in an asset. Normally, a hedge consists of taking an offsetting position in a related security, such as a futures contract. hese loans create a currency risk for the lender. For example, if a bank in the United States borrowed dollars and lent pesos to a Mexican firm, it might make money on the interest but lose money if the value of the peso dropped. To avoid this risk, these banks hedge their loans. The most common hedge is a currency swap, which is a promise to deliver a certain amount of a currency on a particular date, at a particular exchange rate. Banks will create a currency swap with another company that is either speculating on currencies or trying to hedge the opposite currency trade. This mitigates most currency risk .
