  1. The punting of any and all good WR we had to help our young QB's with no one replacing them tells you all you need to know regarding the direction of this franchise for the '17 season. I had hopes for Hackenberg but no one is doing him any favours. I am just hoping we have some development this year from our youth. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. You missed the part where this is total and complete sarcasm. But whatever...anyways we would be no further ahead with him and would we really want to be is the real question. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  3. So then what your saying is he will fare much better with the offence we have now. 🤘 Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  4. I may be wrong but didn't our own 3rd string QB beat Kapernick last year? Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  5. That's an interesting question...I think NE is enjoying having two top notch QB's with Brady and Garrappolo. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  6. Ah damn, I knew it wouldn't last long but you do make a good point which I think will be more of a strong point of his. He will just have to keep the interceptions in check. What he will struggle with is his lack of proven receivers minus Robbie Anderson ...and maybe ASJ. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. I agree very much so. I didn't mind the dink and dunk playcalling at all...he really had problems with that before and it shows he's past that. Progress. I know it's early but I remember watching Brady in his first season...it was all sink and dunk. Every throw. Not saying anything lol. Hack showed composure and looks like the game slowed down a bit. He's got a way to go but with this season having low expectations it's a great opportunity. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. Wow....I'm impressed. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  9. I think we have to remember Hack probably had nightmares of last preseason and also the media in his ear. I think the playcalling and short plays with no downfield attempts is all about just giving him confidence and using his new skills (footwork) against another team. 10. I think he played well. It was not all world but he was not expected to. His short passes were very good ...struggled heavily with that in college Very high completion percentage. Would have been higher had his receivers not had really bad drops. Hack did not have one, not one established receiver except Robbie Anderson if you want to call him that. Things to remember....Hack got no help from his non existent running game. Hacks strong point his is throwing strength and down field throws. I'm certain they gave him a limited field to work with and to give him a positive experience before opening things up... Mission accomplished. Now that he has a good game under his belt and has shown short field accuracy we will see some downfield attempts next week. Hopefully we can have some Bilal Powell in there and give him a running game the other team has to account for. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. Camp Updates Wed 8/9

Well Bryce has something going for him...he had great chemistry with Anderson last year who happens to be our #1(by default) ... unfortunately he really didn't have much chemistry with anyone else. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  12. I am a Hack supporter partly because it would be in the best interest of the jets if he did take hold of the qb position and run with it this year. With that said. .he cannot be average this year and he cannot be improving steadily this year, I can't see any way the jets passing on a Rosen or Darnold unless Hack has a "Dak Prescott/Carson Wentz" type of year. 13. Quincy enunwa out for season with neck injury

Well officially I think Robbie Anderson is our number one receiver. Congrats! Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  14. I think Woody's Ambassadorship has bought Mac some more time. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  15. The exclusive "NEGATIVE" thread

I think the positive posters have their place here because it would not be a proper negative thread with good ole fashioned nyj bxtchxxg and arguments! Lol. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
