  1. I don't think the implementation of actually using TE's in the passing game can be overstated. Leggett is very good but a rookie and ASJ has been phenomenal in camp. This can help the Q and RA in big ways and if they utilize Forte to his strength...the passing game defences will have to account many different passing possibilities. 2. In the NHL it's similar to the NBA but the more games you lose you get higher chance of winning the lottery. So it's a percentage. So the last place team still has the best chance to win the top pick but it's not gauranteed. Worked out well for our Toronto Maple Leafs snapping up your great American talent Austin Matthews. 3. I tend to agree. I think Hack will have to have a monster season to make them pass on the top QB's available. The team did him no favours really making his receiver options a bunch of inexperienced players. I wouldn't want to say the jets would set him up to fail but it's not far from it. 4. I know it didn't matter much but in the SB in overtime seeing the Pats get that interference call and line them up on the 1 yard line 1st down was just a joke. I get it rules are rules but honestly that just about made me sick when the game was decided then and there. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  5. Yea I never said that was right...as you can see I feel it's wrong some teams get preferential treatment to protect their stars. As much as it is good to protect their stars they end up looking like wimps...then you see petty get lit up like in Miami and get knocked into the next century and everyone is fairly ok with it. In the end teams take what is given them and yes teams like the Pats take advantage. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  6. I do have a problem with certain QBs getting a lot of penalties called based on who they are. You know who I'm talking about. I guess that will be a benefit once the jets get "their guy". Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. Completely agree. The very definition of a true shutdown corner went out the door years ago. The fact that a pass interference penalty on a corner wins games on a regular basis is just wrong. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. The people that want hack to show progress enough to warrant him being our future yet want to have a top 3 pick aren't being very realistic. If he has success that means he likely won some games because of his play...more than 2-3. That would be great. I'm pulling for him. If he can't win more than 2-3 games there is no way we don't draft a QB in the first round in '18. If they have a chance to get a FQB and hhe's available they will take him and not just hope Hack makes more progress. In the best interest of the team it would be for Hack to be the future. Using a top pick on other positions in an upcoming draft would be my idea of rebuilding rather than burning a top pick on another QB if we already have one. 9. Should be funny...if Hack does turn the corner and the jets pass on a qb ....oh the hours wasted by some crapping on Hackenberg every waking hour. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
  10. Don't worry someone will come along and figure out a way to pull out some negatives. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app

  14. Regardless how good McCown looks Bowles needs someone to drill in his head the cold hard facts he has won 2 games in the past 3 seasons yet has 20 losses....and it's not like he's a fine wine and getting better with age. The roster he will be playing with will have similar talent level to that of when he was on the Browns and I think he won 1 game in 2 seasons with them. There is no such thing as he gives us the best chance to win...zero. he could look like Montana in training camp but facts are facts ...he has no business being on the field no matter how much "experience" he has. 15. A couple at the top of my head would be the James Carpenter signing and the trade that brought Marshall here with the season he had in '15 it was worth it for what we gave. Sent from my Moto Z using JetNation.com mobile app
