Patriots Fans...

Recommended Posts

Been checking out a couple of Pats message boards and it's the same theme everywhere I go.

They all have already quit on their team. They lead the division....are defending SB champs and Ive read quotes like this today....

Well, I give up.

Yup, This is the Colts year. Hell they probably will go undefeated. I think I'll just get used to the idea now so it won't suck so bad when they win the Superbowl.

Sad. What happened to your DYNASTY? A couple injuries can't kill a dynasty can they?

I'm not giving up on them, I'll cheer for them every week but I'm a realist. I think once we get into the playoffs, we might make a little noise but a Super Bowl isn't in the cards this year. Here's something else you might not expect me to say. We're going to be worse next season. This team is going to have to get worse before it can get better.

but you won 3 SB in 4 Years so that's more than fine.

This Pat team has shown they are no where near the elite level of the last couple of years. At least they have 3 out of 4 years championships to fall back on

And we'll still be in the playoffs. That counts for something ya know? Just ask the herm-amphordites.

I saw that too Smizz.

Now I know why Alk and Garb prefer to hang here.

My first visit to Patsfans.com was a joke after Sundays uninspired effort against KC.

BB was missing all week due to his father passing yet the posters there killed him and the team.

The crazy part is the Pats can still get it together for the play-offs yet these fans are quitting.

Man 'ole man......it's not quitting. You guys wold have no clue what it's like to be a fan of a true champion and many of you have no clue what reality is. If a team makes the playoff's - anything can happen. That said, in there body of work thus far this year, do the Patriots look like a SB team? A resounding "no." Could that change? Sure - but I'm not some delusional Jets fan who's going to mortgage the house on that belief. The Pats are what they are - a very flawed team with key injuries and off-season losses. I have faith that they will be prominent once again - sooner than later. How can't you when BB is in charge? :D

BTW - three of four SB winners does make it a Dynasty and quite frankly, if they make the playoff's, the dynsaty continues. Although a little polishing may be in order.

....I'm talking about NY Jets Football. Not Giants Football, not Yankees Baseball, not whatever else you have there. NY Jets Football - that same team that won a Championships when many of your were mearly a twinkle in your parents eyes.

You have this all wrong, dude. Of course I cheer for my team but I am not silly enough to think they have a real shot at winning the superbowl with the teams present state. It could happen - anything can happen - but really, what are the chances? That does not mean I don't root for my team.

Patsfans=Bandwagon Jumpers, you just proved this to be true and so did all of the other patsies with there ridiculous we give up statements. You should always believe you can win the whole thing, that's what a fan does because any given Sunday anyone can pull one out (unless you've lost roughly 3 QB's). Maybe the Pats fans can start posting again when they're about to win a Suberbowl so we don't have to listen to this crybaby garbage about how they have offseason losses and injuries anymore. You'd think you guys were winless or something, grow up.

And there we have it folks, the slow morph of Patriot fans, into what the Dolphins fans were in the 80's and 90's has begun.

We WERE good damn it! And making the playoffs proves that we still are!.

You guys are sooooo wrong. I LOVE my Patriots and always have. But I face reality - unlike some of you fools - does the Pats defense look like a SB champion THIS year? No, it does not. That does not mean I will not cheer them on like crazy. Will I always cherish their past SB victories and "dynsaty" status? Of course I will. Who wouldn't? (I know - someone who has never experienced a SB victory).

Riddle me this: Why are Jest fans the most stupid fans?

It was intended to be abnoxious. It's Pats/Jets on Sunday - which makes this smack week

Although, as far as most of your are concerned, I stand by the statement that most of you have no clue what reality is.

Probably true Garb....we have no smack left to counter with though.

Thanks for clarifying.

Silly boy, I AM THE VOICE OF REASON. I am the greatest, most reasonable Pats fan of all time.

BTW:

November 29, 2005

Cloud released

The Patriots have released running back Michael Cloud today. That opens a spot on the team's 53-man roster and likely means either Corey Dillon or Kevin Faulk has been cleared for action on Sunday.

......I can see the Pats RB's running for over 100 against the Jets this Sunday.

Btw, do you think the Jets first pick in this past April's draft was a smart one? Answer carefully - what litte credibility you have left is on the line here....

Garby- you know we didn't have a #1 pick, Badway traded it for a Jolleyroger and a kicker.

I wanted matt jones!!!!!!!!

I have more credibility than you think

I saw a terrible season in the forecast this year, specially with the way Penne looked in Preseason. I did think Fiedler could have taken us to at best 9-7. KC confirmed by suspicions that Penne wasn't even close to being ready.

Steven Jackson would have allowed you to continue your dynasty, Dillon was a short term fix.

You know the Pats running game is ajoke and is not feared by anyone

Mumbles big mistake was not drafting Steven jackson, over I believe it was Graham.

parcells made the same mistake

That is too much what if. Jackson was suppossed to be Top 10 or 15 at the very worst.

BTW they drafted Wilfork instead of Jackson. It stands to reason they did not anticipate Jackson falling so they acquired Dillon.

I must admit I was thrilled when he fell to us. I wonder if there was some Sapp type rumours because even Par$ells passed on him when he had absolutely nothing in the backfield.

I wonder if Belichick said "sh*t, he fell to us."

Not a lip reader but there was a play or three against KC where it looked like Mumbles was saying that.
