faba
That they won was not a surprise but they embarrassed Colorado I guess the person that was looking for Gary Barnett to be our next coach will be quiet
PatsFanTX
You heard it here first. Texas will easily handle USC in the Rose Bowl (and I hate the Longhorns).

stormshadow19
After watching USC bascially toy with UCLA (and go for fourth down each and every time), I don't think Texas stands a chance. Don't forget, it's a home game for USC. It's in Pasadena.
GreenBeans
Spy Vince Young all game long and you win. Texas will choke - Mack Brown is their coach after all.
Bugg
USC tonight is -7. It will go up. This has BLOWOUT wrtten all over it. USC is playing at home; Texas has choked as long as Mack Brown's been there. It will be the coda of great college careers for Leinart and Bush. ANd there's no reason to think both won't play their best. I like Vince Young, but the USC defense is pretty damn good too. Other than USC toying with Fresno State for 45 minutes and a tough Irish team pushing them, nobody has come close. And both of those teams were sleeping in their own beds, not hotel rooms, before the game. Texas has no idea of the level of hoopla and hype they're about to experience. If Brown couldn't ever get it done with those Simms/Applewhite squads(good teams who should have at least been in title games) what's changed? Put it this way-if the Jets, Texans or Niners played USC, there's a good chance on a neutral field USC would be 3 point favorites.

Toying with Fresno St.? This is college football, teams don't "toy" with your opponent. Fresno St. did whatever the hell they wanted to for 3 quarters against USC before they ran out of gas. You forgot about Arizona St. hanging with USC as well. I hate to say it but Texas wins this game.
PatsFanTX
I hate to say it but Texas wins this game. Good call Husker. The Trojans have not played one team this season that has a defense as good as the Longhorns. Texas will win this game going away.
Jetlag
Good call Husker. The Trojans have not played one team this season that has a defense as good as the Longhorns. faba
My personal opinion is USC wins this game-outscoring Texas- I do not see the talent on offense USC brings being stopped. This team has not won 30 plus straight games on luck

Texas will win this game going away. And Texas has never played a team as good as this USC team. If you think Texas is going to roll over them, in USC's backyard, you're in for a very rude awakening. If you think Texas is going to roll over them, in USC's backyard, you're in for a very rude awakening. I don't think Texas will roll over them but they will beat them. Texas has beaten some good teams along the way too.
stormshadow19
I don't think Texas will roll over them but they will beat them. Texas has beaten some good teams along the way too. None of them are as good as this USC team is. Michigan? No, as proven this year, they're prone to Fourth Quarter collapse. Ohio State? Nope. I mean, look at the Jets kicker. The Big 12 was so far down this year, it wasn't even funny. And, what you guys are missing is that this is a HOME GAME for the Trojans. It's in the Rose Bowl. I don't care if the Longhorns played there last year. It's still a USC home game. And they haven't lost in two years. USC is, probably, going to roll Texas, just like they slaughtered Oklahoma. stormshadow19
Well, I hope you're right because I don't particularly care for Texas. You neither? They're all hype and no substance. Have been for almost a decade.
