Maxman
I heard on ESPN this morning that Rosenhaus is easy to negotiate with. GMs actually like going to the table with him because he never gets the best deal possible. Just found that to be surprising. I guess he just likes to make noise with his holdouts and antics. Bugg
He's notorious for letting teams announce huge-numbered, long-term contracts which have less than full value, i.e., not much bonus upfront guaranteed money. Announcing a 7 or 8 year max money deal is pretty pointless when so little of it is guranteed. But Rosenhaus likes to brag to clients and the media about the total dollar figure which is practically meaningless. Kinda like a Lotto ad-the value of the annuity might add up over 20 years to $50 million, but after taxes the present value payout winnings you would get would be much smaller.
