any one of them would be awesome for the jets and a great start to the draft for the jets

I thought linebacker was more of a need then defensive end and wide receiver for the Giants?

the media makes it out to be that but it really isnt
giants org and coaching staff have alot of faith in the players they have at LB
Boley and Jaquan williams are there OLB's with herzlich and blackburn competing for MLB
also they just traded to bring in keith rivers to also compete at LB
on the other hand giants got to the superbowl off of there D Ends and WR's
Manningham Left leaving giants with Nicks and Cruz, and while that is good they don't have a 3rd receiver which they use a lot with there 3 receiver sets
1.jernigan is unproven
2.barden has shown flashes but has been injured
3.Hixon has tore his acl back to back years
at DE the giants have tuck jpp osi and kiwi
Tuck and JPP are set starters but the rumors are that osi could be traded tomorow and even if he wasnt traded he wont re-sign with the giants after this year, add to that, that kiwanuka is a free agent after this year and the giants need to have another DE
as the giants say u can never have enough pass rushers

Upshaw. Can you imagine what our D will look like with Coples, Upshaw, Mo, and Maybin rushing the passer? They wanna get after Brady, that's how you do it.
It would be a really scary D. We already have one of the best secondaries in the league even with our lack of quality safety play, you add Upshaw to this defense and you got a nice young core of defensive players, (Coples, Wilkerson, Upshaw, Revis, Harris, Cromartie) and we'd be able to get consistent pressure on the QB. This all sounds nice but WR and RT are two big needs that need to be filled as well.

That was pretty insightful, in that case the Giants should probably go with a DE somewhere in this draft and IMO should definitely dump Osi.
Wasn't overly excited about the 1st pick Coples...I was hoping that we took Reiff at #16, then trade up for Upshaw (seeing he was available) to answer two glaring holes. At this point it's time to revamp this D and get to the QB, so I'm all about trading up and grabbing Upshaw now to really bring some pressure. Coples could be a unique talent like J.P.P but could be the 2nd coming of Gholston. Either way getting Upshaw A.S.A.P. would be GREAT value at DE and help the front 7 tremendously.
This was the guy I was praying we wouldn't take over Coples or Ingram. Reiff will be good but we didn't need a 1st round OL again, look at what the Giants did last season with a worse offensive line than the Jets. But like you said, Upshaw in the 2nd would be a great pick.

We need depth, badly.
