people either love Notre dame and wildly over value them or hate them because they can see them for what they really are- give them credit they play a real tough schedule every year

I go back to the Catholics vs. Convicts days, and this matchup was really heated way back in the 80s.
As hard as I will rooting for the Canes, I don't see them winning or even covering 13 points.
Last week they lost their best OL- a fifth year guy, which does not bode well against a very good ND defense.

Other than Alabama, Notre Dame may be the best defense in the nation.
Offensively though, not so great.
They should beat BYU next week. Their biggest test though is coming up when the go to Norman to take on Oklahoma.
