Blackout
yeah makes me wish the Yankees had signed him now just because he can hit in the playoffs (unlike Tex lol)
SenorGato
Carlos Beltran is the fcking man. Borderline HOFer and the best switch hitting CFer in NY over the past 20 years.
Bugg
Bern Carlos Beltran is the fcking man. Borderline HOFer and the best switch hitting CFer in NY over the past 20 years. Bernie Williams disagrees. Remarkably one of the close comps here is Beltran- http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/w/willibe02.shtml
SenorGato
Bern Bernie Williams disagrees. Remarkably one of the close comps here is Beltran- http://www.baseball-...willibe02.shtml They're both probably my favorite NY baseball players in the past 20 years. Beltran was better. Bernie was basically done at Beltran's age, while Beltran is still a high quality starter. Beltran had more power, was the better defender, better baserunner... BroadwayJoe12
Heck of a run and palyer, but give him 100 more games and you'll see those averages regress to his career numbers.
