KC, Jax, Carolina....its certainly possible. With the way things are going we could lose out.

Cleveland will have a worse record. If Vick is done, so will Philly. The Bills will be worse than the Jets. Tennessee too. I think top ten pick. We'll screw it up just enough.

Pass rushers, pass rushers and more pass rushers. Nice player though, wouldnt be upset.

I wish there were some game changing offensive players in this draft. Could use one. That said, I agree. Need someone to rush the passer. That can be game changing too.

Character is high and he's a great player. Doubt we're picking top 5 anyway.

as far as ND goes you know a team like the Steelers will end up with Eifert and take over for Heath Miller for the next 10 years.

Yes. And it's still better than Cleveland, Buffalo, and Tennesee.

It's one of many things this team needs. Keep neglecting the offense and then wonder why the offense is terrible. Yes, the OLBs are old and slow, but the defense is not why we're losing these games.

The NFL has moved in the direction that has made the two most important positions on a football field, QB and pass-rusher and nothing else is even remotely close. An elite pass-rusher makes our entire defense better; picking that high, there's not an offensive player worthy of the selection, unless geno smith is available.

How does Jones compare to Von Miller?

His first step is not as good as miller's, but he's better in just every other aspect. That could be a tad hyperbolic, but his instincts are definitely better, the kid just makes plays all over the field.. He's going to be a top 5 pick, probably to the browns. Through 8 games he's put up 56 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 17 TFLs, 5 forced fumbles, 28 QB hurries and he's done his best work against some of the top SEC teams. He's also done some of this on a bum ankle.

I don't know if you did, but I watched both games against Auburn and Florida and his numbers were insane: Against florida he had 13 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. His strip of Jordan Reed basically won the game for the Bulldogs and will go down as one of the plays of the year in the SEC.

Against Auburn he had four tackles, two TFLs, two sacks and five QB hurries.

Dude is legit and the one player I want more than anyone else in the draft, assuming Geno Smith is gone. ...which means we won't get him.

We have a pretty good shot at picking top 5, if we lose all the games from here on out, not a likely possibility (probably win 2), we could get a top 5 pick. I imagine were having 5 wins this year, whether or not that will be enough for a 1st round pick, is beyond me. Of course if they end up starting someone besides Sanchez, than we might end up like the Dolphins, winning games that don't change anything. Of course that doesn't change the fact that I'm sick of Sanchez and would like to see someone different for once.

Tom Brady can't pull tens like you do all day long.

Who else are you going to take? There isnt a single offensive skills player in the draft worthy of where we'll be picking.

If Jones is available, you take him without thinking twice and rejoice.

We're the Jets! USC qb.. here we come!

Looks like a weak offensive class as of now.

For skill positions yes, but this looks to be a good Guard and Tackle class. Take Jones in the first, then guard/tackle and guard/tackle. Beef up the Oline for the next QB coming in. Clowney will be a top 3 pick in 2014 if he comes out. Johnny Manziel is elegible in 2015

If the Jets bring in a real GM and HC and they have a top five pick they should trade out of it and aquire more picks and hopefully hit the jack pot with a team that wants to move up. We are not in the situation where one player will make a difference, this team has multiple needs on both offense and defense. In the case of a total rebuild you trade out, when you need to replace about 7-10 starters maybe more thats sounding like a rebuild.

We are going to need at least 2 LB's 2 WR's 2 RB's 3 OL (moore was fantastic but hes done)
