the pirates were a borderline playoff team with one of the smallest payrolls in baseball. Not even close, it's the Jets.

The Jets were a Final Four team two years in a row

How do you get a borderline-playoff team? they weren't even .500? 15 straight years of losing records! Not even close.

The Jets suck, but the Pirates swallow.....

why slide mark ? why not try to gain a yard ? lying sack of sh*t

asswipe

clown

Of course he was lying. No one tries to slide INTO a logjam. Not unless they want a broken ankle. You slide in the open field, to give yourself up, so no one will touch you and so therefore you won't get hurt.

Not to mention, at the time he made contact with Moore's ass his head was further forward than his feet. Unless his story is that he was going to slide head-first like an imbecile. That would be far-fetched to believe anyway. When QBs go head-first that's a dive, not a slide.

He can't even lie well.

It's the total truth. This is the worst franchise in sports.

Um... based on what? LOL there are teams with more losses than us. If you include the last three years of the regime, we're actually above average. Yes, some teams are that bad.

What an a-hole Mark Sanchez is. For Sanchez to say that he was trying to slide is a blatant lie. The ball was tucked, he was trying to run, he ran into Brandon Moore. Enough excuses Mark. You're not a leader. You're not an NFL starting QB.

"I slid to get down, and it was just unlucky that Brandon was right there." - Mark Sanchez last night

Uhhhhh......I didn't see you slide, or think about sliding! You ran into man ---! Then nature took it's course......

How you run right into 750 pounds of football player is amazing. Add in the weekly fumble. This guy will never learn ball security.

Sanchez knows exactly what he's doing -- he is an ass-man supreme. A veritable, Ass-Master. He made a bee-line for that.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Mascot's a Dolphin fan
Haven't won a Super Bowl in 40+ years
Played in Giants Stadium forever
Now they just play in the worst stadium that's still not theirs
Second fiddle in their own city
Owner more interested in headlines, is a walking facepalm
GM can't spit out a coherent sentence
The debacle that was trading for Tebow
Loudmouth coach can't back it up
The loooong list of Top 10 draft busts
Worst QB in the NFL....
Last night's game....

etc....

It's not always wins and losses. Pirates have their own stadium and fans that love them regardless. They haven't been able to compete with a smaller payroll which happens in baseball.

Amazingly enough that was just off the top of my head, more or less. Imagine if a couple of us shared a few bottles of wine and really dug in..

go to a browns board and ask them for their list

Was it the drive or fumble that happened after Gastineau's blunder? I can't remember. The Browns have Cleveland. That entire city loves them. And they now have new ownership and hope for the future. What exactly do the Jets have? It's the worst franchise in football. At least the Mets have their own stadium...in NEW YORK.

AND the Browns at least have a rich history that dates back prior to Super Bowls....
