Was it the drive or fumble that happened after Gastineau's blunder? I can't remember. The Browns have Cleveland. That entire city loves them. And they now have new ownership and hope for the future. What exactly do the Jets have? It's the worst franchise in football. At least the Mets have their own stadium...in NEW YORK.

AND the Browns at least have a rich history that dates back prior to Super Bowls....

they can keep cleveland, lol just ask lebron

as sad as it is to hold up namath as a jet icon, the browns have to go back even further, and have zero lombardi's

a rich history ? including those years with no team, and paul BROWN leaving ?

dude, they are a joke. go find the tomshane of a browns board and let us know what he says

It's not always wins and losses. Pirates have their own stadium and fans that love them regardless. They haven't been able to compete with a smaller payroll which happens in baseball.

Hasn't stopped the Marlins from beating the Yankees with a bunch of kids.......twice

Good news we can't lose Sunday!

If Eli Manning runs head first into his center's ass, gets it stuck up there and suffocates to death, we win!

Fingers crossed.

Look at the payrolls

$45M isn't a splurge. It might not even be a drip......

Give what up? The New York Jets are the worst franchise in sports. The Browns are probably the second worst or possibly tied.

in 97 they splurged:
Marlins: $48M
Pirates: $9M

Top 3 payrolls were: Yanks 59M, O's 54M, WSox 54M

in 03 they struck lightning in a bottle with three of the better young arms in baseball to go with IRod, Lee, Pierre, Lowell, Castillo.

Browns fans & Cubs fans are alot alike. Loyal till the end, great fans to take all that losing. Browns havent been to the AFC Championship since Ernest Bryner was fumbling & Elway was killin em back when Kosar was the QB. Long long time ago. Over the last 14 yrs the Jets have been competitive with Vinny & Chad, we had some pretty decent teams but never could get over the hump. Now the last 2yrs were getting back to horrible football from the Kotite era. Rex's act is old,no ones listening anymore, now were back to being the joke of the NFL,something gotta change like the whole ****in culture of the team! This is bullsh*t.

What do the Yankees have to do with it? We're talking about the worst franchises, not the best.

*Fun Fact: Highest MLB payroll in 1998.....The Baltimore Orioles.
