loaded bc they won. They won bc of Elway. Those 96-98 Broncos teams were loaded.

elway was totally better than marino. Arm, wheels, leadership, clutch. He was the most complete QB I've ever seen.
Its not even close imo.
Elway
1984 - 380 attempts, 56% 2600 18/15 76.8
1985 - 605 attempts, 54% 3891 22/23 70.2
1986 - 504 attempts, 56% 3485 19/13 79.0
1987 - 410 attempts, 55% 3189 19/12 83.4
1988 - 496 attempts, 55% 3309 17/19 71.4
1989 - 416 attempts, 54% 3051 18/18 73.7
1990 - 502 attempts, 59% 3526 15/14 78.5
1991 - 451 attempts, 54% 3253 13/12 75.4
1992 - 316 attempts, 55% 2242 10/17 65.7
1993 - 551attempts, 63% 4030 25/10 92.8
1994 - 494attempts, 62% 3490 16/10 85.7
Marino
1984 - 564 attempts, 64% 5084 48/17 108.9
1985 - 567 attempts, 59% 4137 30/21 84.1
1986 - 623 attempts, 61% 4746 44/23 92.5
1987 - 444 attempts, 59% 3245 26/13 89.2
1988 - 606 attempts, 58% 4434 28/23 80.8
1989 - 550 attempts, 56% 3997 24/22 76.9
1990 - 531 attempts, 58% 3563 21/11 82.6
1991 - 549 attempts, 58% 3970 25/13 85.8
1992 - 554 attempts, 60% 4116 24/16 85.1
1993 - only played 5 games
1994 - 615 attempts, 63% 4453 30/17 89.2
The only thing Elway ever beat Marino in during that 10 years was throwing less picks, with less attempts and in 1990 he had a 1% point higehr completion percentage.
Thats it. Marino was a better in every other years on every other stat.

Stats don't win games. Players do.
Marino was a compiler, that's what he was great at. Elway was better at winning. If I had to play one game and pick between those two guys, I'm taking Elway every time.

Where... in the playoffs? Superbowl? LOL
I guess at the end of the day, none of these guys play the sport for championships... just stat compiling.
Like I said, I don't even put Elway in the same class as a pure QB as Marino... but you are well beyond absurd at this point. sh*t, you started off comparing the guy to Sanchez. C'mon man!!!! COME ON!!!

I never compared Elway to Sanchez. I said he was putting up Sanchez like numbers early in his career.
Elway won two Super Bowls in the twilight of his career on absolutely loaded teams. And the teams he went to the Super Bowl on in the 80's were 15th, 7th and 1st in overall defense.

That's a comparison. Stop rambling for 5 minutes, read what you are spewing, and think about how it comes across to people.

loaded bc they won. They won bc of Elway.
I suppose then he takes the blame for losing to the second year Jaguars at home in the playoffs as 14 point favorites?
