stoicsentry
For his D playing well against Ryan Lindley. Pathetic. Any time you're playing an NFL game and the opposing offense is 0/15 on 3rd down conversions... yeah, I'll take it.

pointman
For his D playing well against Ryan Lindley. Pathetic. The Cardinals suck. But end of the day, its a professional team that got completely owned. It would have been easy for our D to quit like in the past.
stoicsentry
This is why you're my favorite. How many 1st downs did they give up in the game, maybe 5? You can't get much better than that. Also, note: the offense turned the ball over twice in our own territory. So giving up only 6 pts. is amazing.
Jets Voice of Reason
How many 1st downs did they give up in the game, maybe 5? You can't get much better than that. You're hitting the nail right on the head. It's a shame that every week so far this season, we've gone against the toughest defenses week in and week out to make our offense look so woeful. Yeah, any Sunday where you beat a 1-10 team starting a 6th round rookie under center and missing it's entire offensive line 7-6, amazing is definitely the word to use to describe it. How could they have done better? That's all fine and dandy, but you don't take bows for shutting down a 1-10 offense dealing with all of that when 10 days before your team put up one of the most embarrassing losses in the history of football. Sorry. You shut up and walk into the locker room.

That's not exaggeration or hyperbolic by any means, that's Arizona's situation. You don't brag for shutting that sh*t down. Not when Rex's defense has been gutless the rest of the season. So he cries when he gets pushed around, and bows when he can finally be a bully again against the worst team in the league. It's just sad really. The whole thing is sad. He's a sad, delusional person.

THE ILK
You're suggesting that he should refuse to give a press conference? No, he should have put the league on notice! He should have said they better hope we don't make it, because if we do SUPER BOWL! Then he should have started Sanchez, proceeded to lose by 35, and say that he believes Mark gives us the best chance to win, because he feels it. stoicsentry
So was he supposed to: 1. Not give the PC? 2. Ignore questions about the defense? 3. Say "yeah the defense did well, but let's face it, Arizona blows!" 4. Pretend that he's mad that his defense gave up a whopping 150 yards of combined offense on the day? So which is it??? On the other hand, you want him to lie about the defense and say the performance was merely "decent"? I don't get it. He has been saying they need to improve from week 1. It was decent, the cards have a worse offense than the jets, there is nothing they could have done to be awesome today, the cards offense is that bad.
