“I’m told owner Woody Johnson prefers Greg McElroy to be starting QB,” Mehta tweeted Tuesday. “GM Mike Tannenbaum & OC Tony Sparano prefer Mark Sanchez this week.”

Woody Johnson is in McElroy’s corner, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. The Jets owner was thought to be a staunch Tebow supporter, though there is some question about the wildcat
specialist’s health as he recovers from two cracked ribs.

It's unfortunate that we can't fire an owner, but Tanny and Rex need to be gone.
LOL ignorance is bless.

The funny part is that Woody is less clueless than Sporano or Tannenbaum. This is like a game of pass the hot potato in the Jet organization. Each of them are going to keep passing the decision making responsibility publicly to someone else. so no one really knows where the decision rests, and they feel there will be no culpability to pass judgment on.

Woody and Rex for Mac with Tanny and Sparano for Sanchez.
Um... Manish was "told." Something tells me it wasn't by Woody or Tannenbaum. He is probably questioning the people in nearby seats who heard him cheering Sunday. This is not a story. It's barely a tweet.
I can never understand the fans' need to believe that reporters make up these sources. People in such organizations want to blab. They like feeding the media stuff to get the word out. Someone privy to Woody Johnson wants the media to know his thinking so that's why that person is talking to Mehta. This leak is purposeful. It always is.

Just like Manish reported Keller had a high ankle sprain?
I thought this owner didn't get into the football operations thing?
He is now after Romney lost. Woody is known to get into football decisions when he isn't distracted by other things like the stadium deal or politics.
