Blackout
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/redskins-cb-cedric-griffin-suspended-211630919--nfl.html ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -- Washington Redskins cornerback Cedric Griffin has been suspended four games without pay for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances. Griffin's suspension was announced Tuesday and begins immediately. He will miss the rest of the regular season and be eligible to return to the active roster on Dec. 31, following the team's Dec. 30 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Griffin signed a one-year deal with a $1.25 million salary with the Redskins in March after six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. The 30-year-old defensive back has been a regular in nickel packages and has 33 tackles and a forced fumble. He also missed three games with a hamstring injury. ---
Jared
It feels like there are a LOT more guys getting caught this year all around the league...
KSJets
All around the league...except for the Jets. Maybe that's their problem. Hook everyone up with some PED's. They should call up the Pats and see if they have any left.
The Crusher
I wish Sanchez had that kind of commitment.
Jetsfan80
It feels like there are a LOT more guys getting caught this year all around the league... A 4-game suspension for first-time offense simply isn't a strong enough penalty. Guys are definitely going to try to get that extra edge with a deterrent like that in place. Use PED's, get yourself an NFL contract, get caught, serve your 4 games and either stop using or become more careful. Profit.
#27TheDominator
The league doesn't want to stop them. They just want to seem like they are vigilant. It's no secret that these guys aren't clean.
