Let's say Sanchez goes out there and beats JAX, like he should... where do we stand after that?
Now let's say McElroy goes out there and beats JAX, where do we stand after that?
For purely entertainment purposes, which is all that I feel we have left for this year, McElroy starting would be much more enjoyable than Sanchez starting. We're not winning a free sandwich this year, let alone a playoff game... At least give us some damn entertainment.

Aside from a couple of lost practice reps to Brunell in order to send a message, it's safe to say we've never seen Mark Sanchez playing for his job. I like the idea of Sanchez going in to a game to see how he responds, knowing that another one of his horrible peformances will mean getting pulled. Will this be the "push" he needs to get his sh*t together? I don't know, but we're going to find out. Now...if the Jets get completely shut down on offense again, and he throws a pick or two and they DON'T pull him....then I'll be melting down with the rest of you.
He will fold and crumble like a patio chair as I descend upon it.

Look Fine?
So what kind of stats are you suggesting here equals fine?
12-27 112 yards, 1TD 1pick and a fumble the Jets recover this time.
Rex will claim Jets is back and the Jets are in the hunt for the post season. Once again Sanchez with LOVE his chances.

Even if Sanchez goes out and plays well against a few terrible teams, what does that really prove other than the give the FO a reason to do nothing and come back with this game brutal team...
You have a valid point, and this is why the SD game is big for Sanchez. It's the only remaining game against a solid pass defense. SD is #9 in the NFL vs. the pass. Let's see how he does against them if he plays as well as he "should" in the games leading up to that.

yea all of those years that we have watched Jets QBs go down for the season you'd think it would happen JUST ONCE when you wish that it would. Our luck though would be Gmac starting and it being him to get hurt-Jets luck bro-it's unprecedentedI'm hoping the Jags mash his face in.

BUT BUT BUT, He's a master with the Cap!!!The bad news though is NOTHING MATTERS ANYWAY because of that fecking contract that Tannenbaum gave him-we're stuck with this loser no matter what-and why? Because of money-one hell of a reason to ruin your team-a fecking contract that you can't get out of
