Rex didnt have to go all in on Sanchez caling him "special" and the "Sanchize" Telling us Sanchez is just a few steps away from Manning and Brady.

Remember Parcells telling everyone to hold off on the HOF votes after his QB had an exceptional game?

who is this parcells you speak of ?

Agreed, except he's taken half the beating Carr took, to become twice the shell-shocked pussy.

I also think Sanchez has something physically wrong with his arm or shoulder. I thought so last year. He still sucks, don't get me wrong. But for a guy who gets rid of the ball too quickly, he rarely overthrows on a pattern downfield. He is always underthrowing. They don't even call a lot of downfield stuff for him, and he is not pressured like Carr was. He also flutters a lot of his passes. His primary problem is panic in the pocket. You would think he would unload the deep ball early. I don't think that he has the arm to overthrow. I expec to hear at some point that he has a problem that rest in the off season did not cure. I hope they do not use it as an excuse. He still has a 10 cent brain. And a 2 cent heart.

He also promised Super Bowls. Rex is a fat and emotional loud mouth. Rex is Rex. No way a guy who has produced some real nice Defenses did not know the kid was not that good. NO WAY.

He throws to where the receiver is, not where they are going to be after the ball travels. He still hasnt adjusted to the speed of the game.

"Idz a process."

meh- a lot of people including Patriot fans went overboard on Sanchez after the 2010 road playoff win at NE.
I don't recall Rex comparing him to Manning or Brady but would not put it past him.
