As someone that had been on his case he has really upped his performance this year-one bright spot in a dreadful season

This is excellent. Cro really stepped up this year. Pretty incredible how well he played, didn't know his upside was that high.
If he keeps it at that level, and Revis comes back healthy...oh my.
We had Cro and Revis playing at a high level last season and we went 8-8.
Trade Revis.

We had Cro and Revis playing at a high level last season and we went 8-8.
Trade Revis.
Haha... I was also one of he first to say this.
Team with best CB is no lock to make playoffs. Team with top QBs almost always in playoffs. Simple math.

Last year our best player was our CB. He gets injured week 3 and misses basically the entire season. Without him, our best player is then...another CB.
And we wonder why we can't put enough points on the board to be a consistent winner.

I'm not suggesting we trade him but Cro did fine holding down the #1 corner spot and we need a ton of help everywhere but the secondary.

No one wants to be rid of Revis. Just that he's a free agent after this season, and very few think it's worthwhile to pay him the $17M/year (or whatever it is) that he wants. Even if he is the best player the Jets have ever had.

Its called betting with your head and not with your heart.
If Revis can be more of a value as a trade chip than a dominate CB who is the best player on an 8-8 team at 16+mil a yr with Cro playing the way he is...you trade him.

Trade him. The D was fine without him. Nobody wins SB's because they have the best CB.
I hear he likes the Falcons.
