He's not getting fired though.Well, he has officially surpassed Herm. It's almost impressive if you think about it.

Actually I think a brain injury makes McElroy MORE qualified to lead this team. It puts him on the same level as the coaching staff and management.
Please don't insult Greg, it would take a lobotomy to put him on their level.

funny how Sanchez is predicted to be awesome in games that the Jets need to lose but predicted to be terrible in games they need to win. Chances are he will be what he has been, and that draft slot is safe.
Why not? Chad did it for years

Yeah, I'm totally gay
So ****ing this dude. Unreal.

this is why I support a tanny firing but not a rex firing. I know a new GM would want his own HC and that's fine but it's the decision to draft and extend Mark Sanchez that was the most damaging to this franchise. Not Rex figuring out who to start. it was 3 bad options and it's not crazy to believe Mark was the least bad option.

...and he's not part of the future of the team.
I'm calling shenanigans on this one actually. This seems like the easy answer, but it's probably because if Tebow were to go out and play remotely well, the backlash from the fans and media would be pretty, pretty, really bad.

(Chandler)'s a nice piece as long as he's the 7th most important player on your roster....I think they're going to be disappointed when they see he's just a pumped-up Drew Gooden.

Agreed. Said it when they chose McElroy. They are avoiding that backlash at all costs. And rightfully so, IMO. If he wins, then they are committed to him next season and then what?
Only thing it's missing is Tanny staying on cause Sanchez showed life
Oh ****sake, you're so right. This is all going to happen. Sanchez lights it up. Everyone comes back to try again.
****ing Jets baby, ****ing Jets.

I think it's a little of both. Tebow's clearly not on the team next year, so there's no sense in giving him a start when you can try to get Sanchez back on his feet.... but if Tebow went in and played well, Ryan would be roasted(and rightly so) for not making the switch much earlier. No one likes to be second guessed.
