Its so weird that there's no talent on offense when all they spend is $20 million a year on 2 CB's alone. If Rex was such a brilliant defensive coach he could do it with a lot less money then the Jets spend on their defense, particularly their DB's. Then maybe we could afford an OL, WR or QB.

It's not like they didn't spend money on offense. Sanchez and Holmes swallowed $17M of cap space this year alone. Their OL is very well paid. It's just that they're not good.

giovanni bernard is possibly the only rd 1 RB this year. Alot depends on how he runs and medical exams on the combine

Glennon seems like a late 1 early 2 to me, if he is awesome at Senior Bowl. I've seen some projects that have him as the best QB in the class.

The one HC job Belichick didn't have a future HOF QB, he got fired.

He got fired by an idiot who sold his soul so he could move his team.

BBs staff included Ozzie Newsome, Nick Saban, Kirk Ferentz, Thomas Dimitroff, Pat Hill, et al. A dream team management and coaching staff assembled by Belichick. The Ravens had 2 1ST round picks their first season thanks to BB. One 1st was used to draft Ray Lewis.

Kraft wanted to give Beldsoe that contract. One of the reasons why Kraft hired BB was that he would include Kraft on what was going on with the team and wouldnt sign players to contracts without consulting Kraft like Parcells did. Kraft didnt give BB Carte Blanche after what happened with Parcells until he stuck with Brady over Bledsoe.

BB was sick of Bledsoe. Especially after he disappeared in Montana and wouldnt call the Pats about his contract status in 2001. Bledsoe was lazy, not good at reading defenses and terrible at sticking to the game plan.

So don't act like Belichick and Rex are in any comparable situation other than when BB was in Cleveland.

Hess gave BB 1 Million to stay on in 1999 because the Jets were getting inquiries about BB interviewing for a HC position. The 1 million was for BB to stay in 1999. Not payment as a NFL HC.
