During the day players vote who to throw the ball at (aka lynch).
When a majority is reached the ball is thrown and three things have a chance of happening:
1. The player is hit and is taken out of the game (50% chance).
2. The player dodges the ball and continues to play (25% chance).
3. The player catches the ball and continues playing while the player who threw the ball [threw the hammer] is taken out of the game instead (25% chance).
Usual mafia rules also apply. Don't quote your PMs, don't post game relevant info after death, etc.
Players can purchase Sneakers or Gloves to alter their chances of dodging or catching the ball in exchange for taking less votes to have the ball thrown at them. Players will only have the option to purchase these during Day 1 before the hammer is thrown.
Gloves - Increase chance to catch the ball by 25% (50% total) in exchange for being easier to lynch by 2 votes and giving up the ability to dodge.
Sneakers - Increase chance to dodge the ball by 25% (50% total) in exchange for being easier to lynch by 3 votes and giving up the ability to catch the ball.
