F.Chowds
Heckert cancels interview with Jets According to Newsday, former Browns and Eagles G.M. Tom Heckert has canceled his interview for the vacant G.M. job in New York. Bob Glauber of Newsday notes via Twitter that Heckert was concerned about the team’s cap situation, and not about having to work with Ryan. There’s a chance Heckert, who could be a candidate to join the Chiefs, is merely taking the high road. Regardless, the wide net that the Jets have cast with the assistance of NFL headhunter Jed Hughes (who if he’s being paid by the hour has no incentive to keep the field narrow) may need to get a little wider
SouthernJet
Cap situation is publically out there for Heckert AND his agent to review before they officially told Woody they were coming for interview. I call BS. Tat-Gate

Klecko73isGod
Not gonna lose sleep on a guy who's had a hand in building the Browns at any point in the last decade.
SenorGato
Not gonna lose sleep on a guy who's had a hand in building the Browns at any point in the last decade. He's the only guy who has made any kind of talent headway for them. There's actually some players to like on that roster that could make them interesting soon. That said, I would pass as well. JFtoLong
Not sad over Heckert, but this has to be expected. Forcing that moron coach on a potential candidate is going to push anyone with other options away. Typical moronic Jet move.

Forcing that moron coach on a potential candidate is going to push anyone with other options away. Typical moronic Jet move. Had nothing to do with Rex, though. And it didn't have anything to do with the cap either. He goes where Reid goes. With Reid in KC he's not interviewing anywhere else. That's the reason this one was to be expected. Remains to be seen if anyone turns us down over Rex. Hope not.
Larz
any chump afraid of a challenge doesn't even get an interview with me. top guns want the challenge because the rewards from fixing it are like totally tubular but yeah, he's going with reid I bet

Really don't understand where the cap claim came from. The cap situation is known to everyone in the league.
