Culliver issued his own apology on Wednesday.

"The derogatory comments I made yesterday were a reflection of thoughts in my head, but they are not how I feel," Culliver said in a statement. "It has taken me seeing them in print to realize that they are hurtful and ugly. Those discriminating feelings are truly not in my heart. Further, I apologize to those who I have hurt and offended, and I pledge to learn and grow from this experience."

You cannot make this up!

You would think that whoever told this dummy to issue an apology would have had the sense to give him a written statement to read. Obviously you can't count on this moron to know what to say to walk back his original comments.

If I was gay, then yes, I would.

Who cares how many Im interested in.. Im checking them out. I check out lots of women in real life and porn who I would never throw it in to, but I still look and gaze. Im a disgusting pervert.

But with that being said... who cares if a gay guy looks at your junk at stores it away in his spank bank for later?

lmao.. too funny

He needs to accept it cause its happening!

Don't ask, don't tell.

I actually think the stupidity of the apology is in his favor. It makes him seem too dumb to have any actively malicious intent. It also helps because it lets those that were offended feel better about themselves that the guy is a moron. WIn-win.

I'm not gay myself, but a few friends of mine that I played D1 collegiate level sports with said it best: the biggest myth about gay individuals is that they simply want every single guy out there and are unable to control their urges. If your teammates don't come on to you, say anything to you or touch your person, how is it any different than another straight guy being in the shower with you?

Anyone who's worried about another dude checking them out probably has some issues regarding their own sexuality. If a guy is confident in his heterosexuality, it shouldn't be an issue. If he's secretly concerned he might like having another dude checking him out, then it's in his best interest to make sure there aren't any dudes checking him out.

Feel free to skip over this as "psychobabble", but the reality of the situation probably lies closer to unconscious phantasy that he (being the gay individual), actually will not be checking us out and not find us attractive and the ego injury thusly sustained. Easily defensively dismissed as "I don't care if a gay guy finds me attractive". But the truth is, we all seek validation and praise, regardless of the source. The 'gay guys are rapists' fantasy is consciously propagated to avoid having a gay man see you naked due to fear that you won't gain this validation and instead feel rejection (evidence is that none of us would mind a woman seeing us naked, even without the possibility of sexual contact). So, ultimately, then, we are avoiding the ego injury of not being liked, and worse, the questioning of our sexuality that comes with liking being liked by someone of the same gender, despite the fact that it is not actually resultant of sexual desire, but rather of our own narcissism and enjoyment of praise. So, yeah, psychobabble and stuff.

Well that myth is drivel. If you were to place a random girl in the locker room, she for sure wouldn't have the urge to want every single guy that's in the locker room as there's a such things as unatractive people. I'm pretty sure gay man have taste as well so that shouldn't be implied to them. That's why I mentioned "who's interested in male parts in general". You can even place yourself in this example as I pretty sure if you were taken a shower with 54 other womens that you wouldn't be interested in all that you see.

Lol... I hadn't read this yet, but I suppose it kind of proves my point exactly. Defensive posturing and all.

This is much better. Thank you.

You don't want a gay guy showering with you're because you're afraid that he, like most women, won't find you attractive.

Awesome.

Huh? You haven't read it but you assume it prove your point? I'm pretty sure you read and seen it hadn't so you just replied with this. Why? Who knows but like I said your point very much isn't the case.

Um, I hadn't read your post when I made my prior one. But yours was the perfect punctuation to it. And this one might even give a little bit of a nod to my more recent addition to the thread.

Secret gay thoughts. "Boy I hope that gay guy totally doesn't come up to me in the shower with a massive, turgid penis" is probably what they yell to make sure the coast is clear of The Gays.

You guys must be the happy types...amIrite?...bwhahahahahahaha
