PFSIKH
The old farts need the rest. You might start 10-20, but you will get to .500 eventually.

unbanmadmike1
You still have the farm system. Not sure where this is coming from. The yankee farm system is about the 10th best in baseball. Not great but not awful at all.
PFSIKH
I have seen rankings a little lower, but in reality they will never wear pinstripes unless the self imposed cap is actually implemented.

Like any other team they will either play for the Yankees or they will be traded for other players who will play for the Yankees. I'm not sure what your point is. I'm not sure what your point is. The point is, although you might have a top 10 system, there is no one currently available to replace Teix or any other injured player. It is only steaming piles of crap on the roster or someone that was not thought enough to be signed..
Maxman
Everyone was worried about the old guys on the team. Grandy and Tex aren't babies, but they aren't on the old side for the Yankees.

CrazyCarl40
Isn't this a blessing in disguise? Tex has also been terrible in April. Now when he get back, he can just start raking per usual.

SMC
Now he'll suck through June. True, that is the flip side. Unfortunately he sucks in October too, but with the Yanks projected to be so bad it might not even matter.
