How are we supposed to trash this trade with this whole undisclosed nonsense?  Hopefully it is a second, probably based on Revis' playing time this year.  More likely a third.

Doh! so much for high hopes.  What happened to the third and fifth???

Trade official: Darrelle Revis passed physical. Bucs send 1st in 2013 and conditional 4th in 2014 that could be 3rd to Jets. More on ESPNews

Not thrilled with that, if true. Was hoping for a couple picks in 2014, with the conditional being higher.

Still, with Revis coming off an ACL, and Tampa essentially bidding against the Jets bluff, getting #13 is a decent deal.

@AdamSchefter: Revis received 6-yr deal that makes him highest paid DB in NFL history but includes NO guaranteed $$. None.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

This is the crux of the deal for the Jets. Highest paid in NFL history has to be in excess of $15M/year - which, of course, was a fictitious figure all along...

A conditional fourth? No guaranteed money? That means that knee isn't right, IMO.

Zero guaranteed doesn't sound right. Any signing bonus and the first year's salary is essentially guaranteed. Be interesting to see what that bonus amounts to.

$16 mil every year he shows up basically guaranteed he'll be cut in two years.

Horrible trade for the Jets I expected at least a this years 1st rounder and next year's 3rd and 5th rounders or even this year's 1st rounder and a conditional 1st rounder in 2014 but this deal is reportedly for this year's 1st and next years conditional 4th rounder HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

That about says it right there.  Given the rumors, I was hoping there would be more than this, but given the fact that they ended up with the 1 pick that for the first month-plus of the rumors said the Bucs would absolutely not include, in return for a guy who was going to walk for nothing in less than a year from now, I can't be too broken-hearted about it.  Obviously the key will be making something out of this pick.
