Good for Prokhorov for telling Kidd to get back in line. Paul Pierce was coaching that team by the end, anyway. Let Kidd walk, hire Mark Jackson, dump Brook Lopez on the Lakers, and let's roll. Kidd should've played his final year of his Knicks contract. Then, if he wanted to coach, he'd be getting $5 mill per year like Kerr and Fisher rather than the $2.65 mill per he signed last year with the Nets. Not too thrilled with Lionel Hollins, but if this precipitates Garnett and Pierce bailing, and the Nets muddle for a year, I'll deal with if and hope that Lopez stays healthy long enough to trade and/or Deron Williams regains some value.
