MexiRoll6
If the Jets take Manziel I'm done. No freakin way that little putz gets past Cleveland anyway. I like Matthews, Beckham, Jr. or Ebron with 18th pick. Johnny 'Football' will be a bust.

Has anyone mastered this hypothetical draft? I'd be curious to hear your suggestions and experiences. ya, I did like 200 drafts last week on a rainey day. its really hard to get into the top 20. I had a top score on one draft of 4715. I ended up with 22 picks all having an "A" grade while drafting players on the top 3 team needs chart. all I was thinking is what in hell do you have to do to break the top 20? but in all fairness, it was fun to play, and the simulator itself is a little screwy with player draft positions. trade back into the late 20's on one draft, and drafted teddy bridgewater and landed dee ford in the 5th.lol

Has anyone mastered this hypothetical draft? I'd be curious to hear your suggestions and experiences. also, there are a few tricks I have learned to get higher scores(you probably already know them, but ill say it anyways) #1 don't pick the guy who you think is better, pick the guy who the simulator thinks is better. gotta have a good memory #2 use a standard starting lineup as your grid. pick 2 wr's not 3. pick 2 og's instead of 2 centers even tho you think the value is greater #3 always take the trade back as long as you are only moving back 5 spots or less and getting an extra pick immediately following your trade pick. for instance no 1st and 3rd trades for your 1st even if only moving back 1 spot .only 1st and 2nd picks for your first #4 don't always take the greater value for your trade. move back as least as you can. for instance, there might be 2 trades on the table for your #18. a 21st in the 1st and a 21st in the 2nd. and the other trade is a 23rd in the 1st, a 23rd in the 2nd, a 23rd in the 3rd, and a 23rd in the 4th. take the 21st 1st and 2nd. #5 try as hard as you can to fill a complete 22 man roster. you have to add a punter, kicker, and fullback. one of each starting position #6 don't pick a rb till the 5th or 6th round #7 qb garopalo & ss jimie ward are always there in the 4th for an "A" grade

I think I'll take a break until cuts are made, FAhave been signed and comp. picks awarded. Then we'll know exactly what our needs are and how many picks we have. That's when it will be real fun!! flgreen
The guys over on the JI Board are going crazy over these sites. First one listed is a straight up draft simulator. 2nd one allows trades. I'll see after dinner which one I like better. I'm not too knowledgeable on the deeper players in the draft, but maybe some of you college football followers may enjoy this. The other one I can't figure out First-pick is even better IMO. A little confusing at first: step 1. Drop down box for teams, click jets step 2. click select team. step 3 click skip to my pick step 3a. there will sometimes be trade offers made for picks, you can accept or ignore them. step four. skip to my pick step 5 click either a position of interest or best available (recommended) step 6 pick repeat steps 3 to six until picks are all gone

eboozer
http://first-pick.com/NFL/DraftGame.aspx Set up acct. & Log in. 1.Play NFL Draft 2.Select Jets in drop down box 3. Press Select Team Now the game begins: *To see how every team drafts ahead of you press "Cont" (This allows you to trade up 4 Watkins at #8,or Mack@#12. To do this press "propose Trade" and make an offer. *To speed things up press "skip 5 Picks" and those 5 picks displayed on top rt. corner *Press skip to my pick if you want to play only when you draft *When your pick arrives, usually you'll have trade offers from teams looking to move up. You can accept or hit "Best Value Remaining" to see who's avail. Press "select" for the player you want or "Change Position" to go back to the previous screen and accept a trade if you'd like. * The green highlighted positions are team needs the computer has identified. Good luck. Once you get it you'll have a blast. wonder how the jets taking Sheldon would score in these things, do you have to match a player to a team need to score ? I believe it helps, but finding a Day 1 player on Day 2 scores you an "A" Finding 1 in a "Team need position" gets you a better score

Actually I'm having fun running both programs at the same time. fanspeaks has 3 bigboards to choose from, and also has the players listed in the big board order. first pick is quicker, and you can do trades. Cool stuff thanks again
