Arod dropped his lawsuit

It was his only play. This just means he's going to take his punishment and then try to come back next season just to spite his team. Don't act like the Yankees couldn't use him. Their infield is highly questionable at this point.

I also enjoy how Yankees fans have turned so quickly on the number one reason they won a championship in 2009.

+1

I was actually enjoying his scorched earth motus operandi.

I was enjoying it as well honestly.  I am fascinated when guilty people swear they are innocent.  I always thought OJ truly believed he was innocent. Same for Roger Clemens.

Anyhow they said it would cost 10 million to follow through with the lawsuit.  Makes sense that he dropped it.

I am also glad to hear that he won't be showing up at training camp this year, the Yankees certainly don't need that distraction.

Child please, I've hated ARod since D1.

I was hoping he'd win so much money from Selig, he'd end up owning the Brewers and move them to the Dominican Republic.

Come Bob.  He is no longer the "owner" of the Brewers.  :)

You do get a season reprieve.  Think they pay him to go away?

I think they will but if he isn't going to spring training this year, there is no rush.  They can wait and see and decide at a later date.
