Blackout
come on Patsies, you guys need to get the #3 seed to face a togher opponent than Jacksonville
GimmeShelter
Pats have struggled all season with teams with winning records. China Doll Dillon is again inactive as well. Talk about your bad contract extensions.
Garb
All of today's Pats inactives are folks that would be playing if it were a playoff game. Second and third stringers already in there. Cassell at QB. BB is no idiot (unlike Herm). This is a practice game. And, BB understands that Jax is an easier game that Pitt or KC. If Pats lose with their scrubs - the loss will not effect the starters confidence. The Jets - at 4-12, just blew the Reggie Bush sweepstakes. It's all good to me! Alk
your saying BB is playing to lose? I wouldn't say he's playing to lose, but he's definately playing to have all his key guys healthy for the playoffs.

Alk
if he's not trying to win, he's playing to lose Well you tell me, does it look like they're trying to lose? If that's the case, the Dolphins are trying almost as hard.

Jet/BosoxFan
that failed comeback effort, called "a furious comeback" earlier on the broadcast should end the debate on whether or not NEP wanted to win the game and the 3 seed to boot. Not that I liked either Jacksonville's or Pittsburgh's chances.

DeanPatsFan
your saying BB is playing to lose? It's called going into the playoffs with your starters healthy and rested.... If the second and third stringers can get it done, great... if not, so be it....
Garb
Belichick did not want to win that game today - did you see the look on his face after that Cassel TD pass? C'mon..... Did you see that over-throw for the two-point conversation to tie the game and send it into OT? Yah, Cassel is not exactly ready for prime time - but that was BAD. That said, that retarded drop kick will make me sick this entire week. You just know the media will blow smoke up Flutie's arse all week. One play - and the "legacy" grows Honestly, Flutie's head will explode someday. You heard it here first. On a local after-game show, it was revealed that Flutie Flake and the Pats have been practicing that for three weeks. Flutie Flake has been begging for the opportunity to do it. Wonder what he bribed BB with? Anyway, Flutie Flake believed this kick will: further cement his "legacy" you know, an "old timer doing old time" - "go out with a kick" - "be the local hero one more time" "see my face on ESPN once again." The local press will comply. It has already started....."first time since 41!" "Oh yah, that Flutie magic still remains....." Hey, dope heads, the Pats lost Meanwhile the other half of New England that despises Flutie wants to stab themselves in the eye....

Garb
Nope....Belichick is a genius! Losing with your third stringers against the opponents first isn't completely losing. Now - Hermie the clown, on the other hand, wins the game....yet somehow still loses. Who's the tool?

faba
The Pats won or backed in to the right to play jaguars instead of the Steelers Pats at home will win that game to set up Indy showdown. Then we get to see Peyton finally win a playoff game

PatsFanTX
you had a chance at 3rd seed, hello Yo Assmop, Jacksonville at home and then a vulnerable Colt team the following week. Versus Pittsburgh at home and a game the next week in Denver? BB is absolutely brilliant.
afosomf
the way pitt played 2day, pats could have handled them, denver has not been playing great last 4 weeks if you think denver is harder than colts you are F'n dreaming Tony's son will be the inspiration for a major buttwhipping. PatsFanTX
if you think denver is harder than colts you are F'n dreaming As a long-time Pats fan, I dread nothing more then going into Denver and playing a football game, especially a playoff game. I'd rather take my chances with Indy in the Dome then going to Denver and playing the Broncos.
