Sorry you crybabies. Jets win, YOU lose.

No Reggie Bush for you. The Jets will be forced to actually address their multiple needs.

Send me an address, I'll send some Kleenex your way.

Make sure it's the soft kind of tissue. Otherwise they will bitch about their nose being raw too.

GOB

Why were you so anti-Bush? It's like you hated the guy or something.

You know, if we had landed the #1 and picked him, we would still have ALL the other picks, compensation picks, and free agency. It's not like the other needs wouldn't be addressed.

By the way...if Herm bolts for KC and we get KC's #1, I wouldn't be suprised to see the new Jets HC trade both picks to go and get Bush. New head coaches love to make a big splash upon arrival, right? Hell, even if Herm stays, you know about him trading up for D-Rob, so anything is possible.

Sorry, but the Reggie Bush talk isn't going away anytime soon.

It was so frightening to watch everything go right in a game the Jets didnt need to win. Ridiculous INT's, kick off returns etc.

Even if you WANTEd tHE jETS to win you had to take notice of that today. It just goes to show how snake bitten the organization is.

It's not a question of hating Reggie Bush. it's all about the amount of whining and crying that Jets fans have been posting about how getting Reggie Bush is the end all be all. It got old in October.

No one player is the be all end all. But he is the start of something in the right direction. Some people here are happier when the Jets lose. I really believe that.

How can Reggie Bush talk get old? Is Cedric Houston the answer? Will Curtis ever be the warrior again?

Obviously, it did to some of us. While the Jets could use Bush, it's rather obvious that he'd get misused here, and squandered. Among other things.

All in all, you don't need a top pick in order to get a great pick. Case in point, the Detroit Lions.

gob- why don't you save this post and when bush tears it up next year, you can shove it up your arse.

this franchise is doomed, sorry you can't see the forest thru the trees.

This franchise is doomed with or without Bush. You honestly think that Bush will singlehandedly turn the Jets around within even 2 years? No, we'll have Bush and nothing else to show for it. He'll get pounded every game, get the living sh*t beat out of him, not do sh*t and then we'll have to listen to everyone piss and moan about it.

Every year it's the same god damn thing.

The Jets HAVE to get Reggie Bush

The Jets HAVE to get Justin Miller

The Jets HAVE to get Dwayne Robertson

Miller barely did anything all year although you couldn't tell around this place. Then he finally busts a KR for a TD in week 17 and he's the GOAT with the SAME EXACT people who were running around here saying he HAD to be drafted

Robertson has been NOWHERE, NOWHERE near what the Jets traded to move up and nab him.

Look at some of the great Jets 1st round picks below:

2004 Jonathan Vilma LB Miami (Fla.)

2003 Dewayne Robertson - Average

2002 Bryan Thomas DE - Garbage

2001 Santana Moss - Average, Gone

2000 Shaun Ellis - Garbage

John Abraham LB - Inconsistent

Chad Pennington - Injury Prone, Inconsistent

Anthony Becht - Garbage, Gone

1999 No Pick -- --

1998 No Pick -- --

1997 James Farrior - Gone

1996 Keyshawn Johnson - Gone

1995 Kyle Brady - Gone

Hugh Douglas - Gone

1994 Aaron Glenn - Gone

1993 Marvin Jones - Retired/

1992 Johnny Mitchell - Retired/Bust

1991 No Pick -- --

1990 Blair Thomas - Bust

1989 Jeff Lageman LB Virginia

1988 Dave Cadigan T-G Southern California

1987 Roger Vick FB Texas A&M

1986 Mike Haight

Boo hoo, forgive me if I refuse to fall into the trap of how one drafted player is going to singlehandedly save the Jets. Furthermore, since the Jets have PROVEN that they cannot draft a player that they've been able to BUILD around and improve the team as a whole I'm not going to sit here and even pretend that the Jets could draft Bush and magically build a team around him.

This team is a freaking sinking ship. They are in the midst of cap hell. They have MAJOR problems at QB, WR, blocking TE, OL, DL, and at a lesser extent, have issues at RB and LB. Ty Law is a GONER so now the Jets face having to replace him.

Oh BY THE WAY, a team REVOLVES around it's QB and we have a $64 million ransom being hung over our heads by a useless QB with a rag arm. Who's the answer? A veteran QB? A trade? draft? Who in the hell is running the ship next year? If you think Penny will ever be back 100% you're nuts.

Like it or now, Belichick has built a dynasty by stockpiling picks and building a solid team around multiple good players, NOT SUPERSTARS. Parcells builds his teams through stockpiling picks and getting good players that work well together, NOT SUPERSTARS.

Deal with it. Bush may be a great player, but he's NOT the answer for the Jets.

BB aside, when was the last time Parcells won it all?

Personally I think RB is a bigger need. We can't cut Chad loose, so we're stuck with him and his salary.

We can't waste another top pick on a freaking TE, I don't care if it's Mark Bavaro's and Antonio Gate's lovechild.

Our OL was banged up this year. Re-structure Mawae and he will be fine. We can develop a later rounder to take over for him in the next year or two.

PS..I was a huge Vilma supporter when he came out of the U. How is he working out thus far?

I agree Guns!! The only player I ever thought would make a difference on the Team was Joe somebody that we drafted out of Bama in 65!! And that wasn't even with our first pick..It was a Number 1 pick we got from Denver! With our first pick we drafted a FB named Tom Nowatzke! Now there's a household name!! Truth be told our best players Jet History wise weren't number 1 picks!!

YOU'RE RIGHT I SHOULD BE HAPPY WE LOSE OUT ON 2 FUTURE CORNERSTONE FRANCHISE PLAYERS

WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Damn... when you look at it like that, the Jets also missed out on that franchise QB, Tom Brady.

It seems like people are always looking for the negatives (and I admit, I do it as well), but, the fact remains that you can't change it. So, it'll be easier on you if you just accept what happened. Yeah, it wasn't what you wanted, but you can't change it. Be it your dream girl dumping you or you not getting the football player you want.

Besides, if you're that bent about it, buy Madden 07 when it comes out and either trade for, or do a Fantasy draft, and draft Bush.

Besides, missing out on D'Brick or Bush might be a blessing. There's still alot of talent in this draft. Granted, not as hyped, but talent none the less.

It doesn't matter if the Jets were to get Bush or some phenominal QB in the draft because they'll get killed without a good O line. The Jets O line right now is horsesh!t.

Believe me, I would love for the Jets to get a great RB or a great QB in the draft, but let's be realistic. The O line needs to be addressed.

WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

yeah, EB just like im sure the Lions are glad they banked on a so called "franchise player" like Joey Harrington, or maybe how grateful the Bengals were to find their "franchise player" in Akili Smith. Danny Weurfful? I could go on.

One player doesn't make a team. Go ahead and give me the Tom Brady, Carson Palmer BS excuses but they win because of the players on the team, not just one guy.
