I do believe in waiting to make smart moves, and certainly not making reactionary ones. But doing nothing when your team has immediate, pressing needs is not the answer. Revis just signed a contract with our division rivals that we had to the cap space to offer; we made no try to get Jeremy Maclin; out of all the receivers out there the best we could do was Eric Decker? We're going to give him #1 receiver money even though he's clearly a 2 at best. What a sh*tty way to start the FA period.

Eric Decker was the best WR available in free agency the Jets got him  Hakeem Nicks being a close second.

Idzik and Woody JOhnson wanted no part of Revis it was quite evident im angrier than hell but we need to move on.

Even with Revis New England defense isn't as good as ours.

Why do people get caught up in the #1 vs. #2 bullsh*t?

At the end of the day, he produced in college, he produced with Orton, he produced with Tebow, and he produced with Manning. This guy has done nothing but put up good numbers. Whether he's made the mythical jump to a "#1 WR" (whatever that means) is trivial. It doesn't matter. You don't pay for "#1 WRs", you pay for production, and Decker produces.

Which #1 WR signed a deal worth 7mil per?

Eric Decker was the best available WR in the FA this yr. oh u thought Nicks was going to tear it up? Yeah, maybe and MCL.

Revis just used up Pats a entire cap space available. We're just trying to upgrade an injured Cromarties spot. Plenty of options to upgrade from the 15th ranked CB last yr.

Maclin wasn't even available. You don't follow football, do u?
