Might get some hate for this but if/when Watkins and Evans are gone by the time we pick...I would rather not draft a reciever. Id rather draft Ebron or a defensive player. The 2nd round WR's are all taller and have great potential too, im sure a lot of them would be late 1st rounders in another draft year. Players like Davonte Adams, Donte Moncrief, Matthews. At the end of the day you have to pick Best player available, even if its a defensive player. Maybe CJ Mosley, Zack Martin, Anthony Barr. Those are some names i havent heard associated with the Jets but I can see hapenning

If Watkins and Evans are gone need to go CB in round 1 and then best available WR in round 2.

Somebody has a brain in here. Safety or corner with #1 pick. I wouldn't even waste my time with a WR or TE since its a very very deep class for both.

Our secondary was atrocious. Then grab a QB in Rd 2......A WR in Rd 3.   Gilbert, Denard, Dixon, Pryor.... Whoever is there in that order is my pick.

The Wizard of Oz

I could wile away the hours

Conferrin' with the flowers.

Consultin' with the rain

And my head I'd be scratchin'

While my thoughts were busy hatchin'

If I only had a brain

I'd unravel any riddle

For any individ'le

In trouble or in pain

With the thoughts you'd be thinkin'

You could be another Lincoln

If you only had a brain

Oh, I would tell you why

The ocean's near the shore

I could think of things I never thunk before

And then I'd sit and think some more

I would not be just a nuffin'

My head all full of stuffin'

My heart all full of pain

I would dance and be merry

Life would be a ding-a-derry

If I only had a brain

I agree, but this post was just to find out who people like as the third best WR in the draft

Jordan Matthews.

Yes, I had to pick "other" in the poll which is bullcrap because Benjamin in many mocks isnt even a top 2 round WR let alone a guy going at 18.

Im offended by the disrespect of Matthews. Im going to start wacking posters around here.

I haven't seen a mock that doesn't have Benjamin in the first. Regardless of his 40 time, the dude is huge and has an enormous wing span and was pretty productive last season for FSU, plus I think he plays faster than that 40 time would suggest. Reminds of how people felt about Alshon Jeffery.

Those are some ugly mocks by tools.

Please show me. I'd like to insult the person who did the mock.

Granted having looked more closely, I've seen a few mocks not having Kelvin Benjamin going in the 1st. However, I doubt those same analysts predict he doesn't go in the second.

The second round part of my rant was just hate. I dont think Benjamin is that good, atleast not good enough for a 1st round grade.

Alright I understand, I don't think he's that great either but I had to throw him in the mix. I think Matthews is a reach at 18 but love him in the second.

Im biased when it comes to Jordan Matthews. I think he's better than Benjamin, and if Benjamin can be considered a 1st rounder than by default Matthews should be. Not that you should take my word for it. Thats just my POV.

I understand, Matthews is a better athlete with better route running and consistently great production. I was actually going to put Jordan Matthews, Allen Robinson, and Jarvis Landry up there but I didn't want to flood the poll. I prefer Matthews, but he's widely viewed as a 2nd round guy, so taking him at 18 seems like sort of a reach to me

No need to worry about any other WR than Jordan Matthews. lol

Id just like to say I laughed out loud when I saw you supply Villain with all these absolutely credible Mocks that proved your point.

And before anyone gets on me for calling these guys "credible" ... they are the best in the field of Mocks, even though mock drafts are dumb and useless

But anyway, my 3rd receiver off the board is a tie between Lee and Beckham...I go back and forth everyday

lol they are dumb, even though i still read a new one when they come out. I think the Big Board rankings are better, I think those are more in line with the "war room" boards.

Also, I just realized that the NFL equivalent to Jordan Matthews is Eric Decker in my opinion. Not particularly fast or tall but they both fight for the ball real well. I would say that Matthews has the potential to have better hands than Decker but can't really rely completely on potential to always come through, nonetheless they seem similar.
