Geno had collegiate success throwing to Tavon Austin (5'8, 175) and Stedman Bailey (5'10, 190).

His favorite receiver on our team is Jeremy Kerley (5'9, 189)...coincidence?

No, not a coincidence. Jets just didn't have a WR last year. Nelson did very well with limited play time.

I just think it makes so much sense, pick him up for a 3rd, draft a corner in the first and take best TE in the second. Top 3 needs addressed and we have the best receivers in the division, suck it Revis.

Agree get it done Idzik for a 3rd and you instantly look like a genius.

Pass. So we have to offer up a 3rd round pick or higher just to have the privilege of paying him $10 million per season, in addition to the fact that he already wants a new deal, after being only mid-way into his most recent one? Which just so happens to be the the 8th largest WR contract in the league. Yea, no thank you.

He's a great talent, but we've already seen him half-ass his play when he wasn't happy with his contract situation.

Agreed. too much gizap for a guy who could potentially be Holmes part 2.  And we lose a high pick too. No way jose.

Most of us can agree that this is NOT an Idzik type move...but I think what will make Idzik a great GM is the non-Idzik type moves he pulls off on occasion that pan out.

Good luck Idzik...its a tough crowd.

A loaded Draft for wide outs and we want to trade for Jackson? - Nooooooooooooooooo, If he was all that, does anyone think Philly would put him on he block.

We've had enough of other Teams Diva Receivers, see Holmes. Expensive to boot no thanks!

probably  bogus but one report says a trade done deal- no team named.

*BREAKING**: The Eagles have agreed in principle to trade WR DeSean Jackson.

Pro Football Spot has learned from an source inside the organization with knowledge of the situation that the Eagles have agreed in principle to trade WR DeSean Jackson.

Compensation and the trade partner are not known at this time and the trade could still fall through. However, at this point, a deal has been struck for the services of DeSean Jackson.

Jackson totaled 82 catches for 1,332 yards and 9 TDs last season with Chip Kelly as his head coach and Michael Vick/Nick Foles as his QB.

Actually, yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if it was them.

If it is us, maybe we can trade back w Carolina so they have enough reach to draft whatever WR they want outside of Watkins and Evans...recoup a third or fourth round pick.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Jets have "inquired" on DeSean Jackson.

Most teams will be inquiring on one of the league's best receivers, but as RapSheet points, New York's inquiry comes in tandem with Michael Vick's visit. There have been conflicting reports on Jackson's Philly future, but it's pretty clear the Eagles are at least listening to the phone calls. With or without Vick, the Jets would make sense as a landing spot. Gang Green is starved for playmakers.
