Latinlawyer
Rice would be good to sign for the WR stable...he is not a 1, so you still would need to draft a 1. Rice could be a rotational 2 wth Decker..

Patriot Killa
Decker, Draft pick, Kerley, Rice, Nelson and Hill isn't a bad group at all. Far from bad actually if this was to happen.

darkest knight
Decker, Kerley, Hill, Gates, Ford, Nelson and possibly Rice... Its depth but its mediocre at best... we still need to draft one high

We don't need to draft anything. That's the whole point. We go in and take the best guy available every time.
CrazyCarl40
So Jets fans were rabid for a 28 year old RB (not a true position of need), coming off an injury but are "meh" over a 28 year old WR (a glaring need) coming off of an injury. Am I getting this right?

Smashmouth
Rice would be good to sign for the WR stable...he is not a 1, so you still would need to draft a 1. Rice could be a rotational 2 wth Decker.. I think if Rice can stay healthy for an entire season he is certainly capable of being a number 1 WR. Only think that has held this guy back are the injuries. He is certainly a threat there is no doubt about that.

The idea is to win... And I believe to win on a regular basis we need another legit threat to compliment Decker... And while Kerley is most certainly a nice slot player hes still not that major threat that we are missing... Not to mention half of those receivers have'nt been able to proven that they can stay on the field on a consistent level

The Mytee Markjets
I'm sorry fellas, but to me , Rice never really showed much. Personally, I like David Nelson. We really need to concentrate on our Safety position. We've seen this movie recently. Just after we went to AFC Championship game, we dumped our WRs, went FA hunting, and went in the tank. Stephen Hill needs to improve on catching the ball. Love the CJ signing. Sidney does NOTHING for me. Izzy's been patient. He's really putting it together. I hope he doesn't change now. I fully trust MM's scheme. Im really concerned with The back end of our Defense. If we can obtain strong players there, Rex can use his Mad Scientist system to its MAX effectiveness. Also a bit concerened with Special Teams. Westy had it on locks, now, we seem very weak on Kick-off and Punt returns, ( def and off ) Just what my eyeballs percieve. .....Great Signing!!! Grounnnnnd & Pounnnnnnnnnnnd!!!! Go Jets!!

Am I getting this right? Def not very knowledgeable when it comes to special teams...or what wr's are expected to contribute. Does anyone know if there is a mandatory # of wr's that have to be on the field on a kickoff? Rice......no Decker....no Kerley....no Nelson....? Hill......? 1st rnd pick....? Or 2nd rnd pick....? Im just curious as to how it would breakdown.

All the cool d-bags in the Carolina's have a salt life sticker on their truck. Yep! Started here in Jax. They've got restaurants and a retails store down here now. It started off with bumper stickers, now its all over the place. An ex-con owns it if I'm not mistaken. Down here only Rednecks sport the gear but the restaurants have some hot ass bitches working there and decent food...so they got that going for them. Agree If the Jets get any play out of QB, they will compete for a play off spot right now. If they hit on a few of the 12 draft picks, that's gravy. IMO that is how the off season should be played
