Strifec1209 Posted January 3, 2006 Share Posted January 3, 2006 http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/ its about the QB situation, it says that bollinger, penny and another qb are going to be competing for a starting job next year. i never thought bolly had a chance at starting qb, the coaches never seemed to have confidence in him... well mabe they think he can be a capable starter behind a decent OL, when he had time he stuck some pretty passes. If Bollinger is here next yr he deserves a to atleast be considered for the starting Job. He isn't good enough to get it but after what he had to endure this season. He deserves that much. It would be an slap in the face to him after being the Jets sacrificial lamb in '05. He will be the 3rd Qb next yr,Maybe the 2 depending if herm is awarding roster spots again this yr based on performence at his BBQ-Qlympics. So far he's survived: a) 6th-round-throwaway-pick ridiculing size comparisions c) Ricky Ray, Vinny Testaverde, Jay Fiedler, Cocaine Carter et al d) Heimerdinger's let's-make-the-kid-look-bad playcalling vs. Baltimore e) and now HERMAN EDWARDS hahahahahahaaaaa he's gonna outlast Herman, get a big contract and start for the jets. Strifec1209 Posted January 3, 2006 Author Share Posted January 3, 2006 if bolly does infact become a 3rd qb, he'll be the best freaking 3rd in the NFL, he doesnt deserve a to be 3rd- 2nd or 1st would be nice, hes a downfield passer not a pennington, but he rarely had the time to look downfield and make a play but when he had that time he took advantage still... his short game needs work.
