FoxJet
WR Jalen Saunders Inks His Deal Posted 25 minutes ago Eric AllenSr. Reporter/Director, Internet ProgrammingEmail @eallenjets On the Inside The Jets are two-thirds of the way there, announcing the signing of WR Jalen Saunders Friday afternoon. Saunders becomes the eighth draft pick of the Jets’ 12 member class to agree to terms with the Green & White. “This is one tough little guy. He gets after it,” said Rex Ryan of the 5’9”, 165-pound Saunders after today’s first rookie minicamp practice. “He averaged like 16 yards a punt return and you see that burst, that quickness, the acceleration, the flat-out speed that he has. He’s small, but I don’t think we need to tell him that because I don’t think he realizes it. He goes out there like he’s 225 pounds.” Saunders, a fourth-round selection (No. 104 overall) who was the first of three wideouts the Jets took on Day 3, averaged 15.2 yards a reception and totaled 26 receiving touchdowns in a four-year collegiate career that started at Fresno State and finished with the Oklahoma Sooners. “He’s a dynamic playmaker with a ball in his hands, too,” said senior director of college scouting Terry Bradway. “He brings that return element. It was really an attractive pick for us.”

Instant Karma
Jalen reminds me a lot of Terrence Mathis - hopefully he can produce like Mathis did for Atlanta.
