Maxman
Lauren has 4 more treatments. It is such a long process, this started last November. But it feels like the end is finally close. 4 more treatments, she goes once per week on Friday. Really looking forward to July 18th. She has to do 6 weeks of radiation after that, but it is going to be nice to be done with chemo. She is doing great, the oncologist is very pleased with how everything is going. Thanks everyone for all the support, it is greatly appreciated.

Maxman
Thanks everyone. Bright and early tomorrow morning, then there are 3 left.
Maxman
And then there was 1! Friday can't get here fast enough. This round of chemo (the past 12 weeks) definitely has a cumulative effect. Lauren is just exhausted after each treatment. But with only one left, and then 6 weeks of daily radiation, things are looking up. Leaving on Friday after meeting with the oncologist for the last time and hearing her say, "Congratulations"....yeah that was cool.

Yeah, the chemo cycles are definitely cumulative, gets tiring as it goes on. Radiation shouldn't be that bad, mostly just the pain in the ass of going every day. Just keep the positive attitude. Radiation shouldn't be that bad, mostly just the pain in the ass of going every day. Just keep the positive attitude. Thanks Joe. The cancer hospital is New Brunswick which is half an hour with no traffic, 45 minutes with traffic. The radiation will be real close to home so a 10 minute commute will be much better.
