Lebron is going back to Cleveland I guess

Great.

Wiggins for Kevin Love too apparently. Lebron makes an awful lot of decisions for a guy who lost in the finals to an older team, has Pat Riley in his corner and is far and away the best player in basketball.

Seems like this has been in the works from the second he landed in Miami.

For all the sh*t he took when he left (and rightfully so) and how poorly he handled it, he handled this summer very well and the letter really speaks to how much he had matured.

Agreed - hope this has a happy ending and gets the Cav's a ring or 2 (after the Bulls get a couple more)

At the very least, it returns Miami to the sh*thole that it is.

I think he's the same guy honestly. I dont really dislike him or like him....he's just his own brand and plans things in advance. There's no loyalty there. Kinda similar to Revis.

Lebron's talent alone and how the NBA is built allows him to do whatever he wants basically. He'll probably own the Cavs in 15 years.

we were joking about it in the newsroom, wondering what percentage of the team Gilbert gave to him.

I wouldnt doubt it. There was some under the table agreement here....I dont buy him finally forgiving GIlbert yesterday regarding that Vince Mcmahon style letter.

The Cavs won 3 of the last 4 lotteries lol.

I can't stand him. And I can't stand the way he's treated by the media. Trying to act like he's some saint for going back to Cleveland after what he did is ridiculous.

This. Being a dad changes your perspective on a lot of things. I wouldn't want my kids growing up in Miami either.

Congrats RJF!

Haven't been around much the last month and didn't know you joined the unconditional love club. Best to you and the family.

Hey now, I should have added that I wasn't speaking in regards to me.

lol - I just assumed you were talking about yourself. Back of my mind told me Lebron had his kids when he was 15 making them all growed up today.

it's being reported as a 2 year deal

supposedly to time his next long term extension with the new TV deal, which would mean his extension is for more money as max deals would be worth more

either way, coming home seems more like a publicity/money move and not a winning move.  we'll see how many other stars work the new TV deal into their contracts.  if he is the only one, I would tell cavs fans not to buy a jersey just yet, lol

that's his prerogative of course, nothing wrong with it, but I don't see this as some feel good story

Yeah, I don't think he'll bolt in 2 yrs. Rather, he's looking for the super max contract at 32 yrs old rather than getting a 4 yr contract now and be 34 yrs old looking for a big deal.
