Honestly it's actually pretty cool that the jets gave season ticket holders a chance to be semi famous at a sporting event god knows none of them deserve to be famous at.

I don't see the punch line. I don't get the "it's going to be a long season " or I don't get the hipster make fun of the jets for everything comments.

What other franchise gives random fans a chance to be semi famous at actual teams games??

I voted in the first round, some of the videos were really bad. The only two that I liked were Alex and Jetman.  We tailgate close to Alex and he is a good dude. Always loud, always at every Jets event. He would be good for this.  I like Jetman as well, we met him a few years ago when Courtney was doing the parking lot videos that we put on YouTube.  He was a nice guy as well.

I don't know the others. I am not thrilled with the idea of this being put to a fan vote. But hopefully the experiment works and whoever gets the stadium the loudest wins. That is the real goal here.

Whoever does the chant will get booed. Ed got booed everytime he was on the screen. Everyone who tries to start a chant in their section are booed. This is going to be bad. They can be a celebrity all they want, just know it comes with getting booed and sh*t thrown at you

Simply wonder if any of these guys considered why Fireman Ed was so adamant that he was done with this. I'm sure the Jets at first gave his some...support. And there is nothing wrong with that. But the anger about this in his appearances since lead me to believe Anzalone really got tired of dealing with the various marketing geniuses that constitute the Jets front office. Keeps coming back to Johnson and said front office thought PSL Stadium was going to be a roaring success and instead it's a mess, both for people attending and the revenue they expected that has not materialized. Now they aren't going broke(which would be almost impossible). But it's not the gold mine they were expecting. Once again, as with drum lines and fan points programs, they really have no idea who their fan base is and what they like and dislike.

Once they brought Ed in to promote PSLs, he was a dead man walking.

He's a retired FDNY guy on a pension that probably pays him about $65-75K a year, may be tax free. The Jets were probably a nice bump to that. He worked for the Jets really 8 days a years with no heavy lifting paying him some decent coin, free parking and tickets and some appearance fees. To give up a sweet tittie gig like that means it probably became a total pain in the ass. Because a guy like Anzalone is not giving that up otherwise.

The Jets are supposed to be a pro franchise not a busch league team. Who in the heck needs a chant leader and a marching band called the aviators.

None of the winning teams have those things that's why the Jets are stuck at the bottom of the barrel in regards to being a quality organization.

Jets chant leaders really? what is this amateur hour? Jets should cancel all this circus attractions of jets chant leaders and marching band aviators.

Just play the Jets chant on the screen when theres a big scoring play for the green team. Jets don't act like a pro team at all. I have to say that much. Go Jets!
