pointman
I believe we are better than last year... BUT we got major league lucky in several games last year. And our schedule is harder. So nine would be nice. Ten would be amazing. Realistically eight.
Greenseed4
I believe we go 1-7, then win out.
Jetlife33
9-7, 2nd WC spot.
JetsFanInDenver
11-5. With a real QB at the helm for a change.
NCJETSFAN
I say 9 but no playoffs. Look at AFC playoff teams from last year who are we better than ? There's always a surprise team in this league last year was chiefs. If bortles is as good as in preseason watch out for the jags !
Jettington
9-7, in the mix for a wildcard spot, tie breakers might decide our fate which makes our games with Miami, KC, SD, and Pittsburgh huge.
Maxman
10 and 6. But it will be tough with the schedule they have.
Jetsfan80
I'm not putting too much stock in the schedule. No one knows how strong a schedule really is until a few games are played. That being said, last year we were a 6-10 team that managed to go 8-8. The roster is improved overall so that the "good luck" factor we had last year won't lead us to a more "deserving" 6-10 record this year. I'll go with 9 wins. Rex's destiny will be based on whether those 9 wins gets us to the postseason or not.
Obrien2Toon
7-9 maybe 8-8. I could see a lot worse happening before I can see them doing better than that.
Jolot
Unfortunately very similar to last year IMO , a break or bounce here or there will be the difference between 7 to 9 wins....hope I'm very wrong

The Jets were terrible in the turnover differential department last year, not only with Geno giving it away, but the defense being unable to land on a fumble. Without looking it up, I'm pretty sure the Jets were the worst in the league last year with just two fumble recoveries. That's some bad luck right there, and led to that point differential in a very real way. If Geno can cut down on the turnovers, and the ball bounces a little more favorably, 10 wins can be a realistic number.
CotcheryifyouCan
brutal schedule on paper, but you never know how that is really gona turn out. Im gona say 9 wins and be optimistic but I can see anywhere from 6-10 wins. This is a very unpredictable team this year. Could be decent or real bad
Lil Bit Special
19-0. Rex strips naked and tells Jets fans to go f#ck themselves for being such pessimistic asshats.
slowmoe57
I have stated earlier that 9-7 will be our record and that we will just miss the playoffs. Then again I predicted Jacoby Ford would be a fan favorite so what do I know?

Big L
I think about 9 wins. Offense should be better than last year (no where to go but up, really). Defense scares me, though. I hope its great, but they seemed to make average quarterbacks look like Joe Montana last year, and with the CBs banged up.... Oakland game has me worried to start.
