Maxman
We all knew it, but Rex just confirmed it. Dee Milliner is out. Good luck Antonio Allen and Darrin Walls!
JustInFudge
Are you wising Allen and Milliner luck because they're out? Meaning, we're down both players. Or do you mean to wish Darren Walls luck?
JustInFudge
Sucks for Milliner. Sucks for the Jets. 17-3 Raiders.
SouthernJet
Extra blitz packages and Front 7 will have to put it into another gear until the CB health situation improves. Maybe Que emerges with this urgency thrust on he and other 6?

stoicsentry
I think it will be a high scoring game. Rex is gonna blitz the hell out of Carr, and that's going to lead to a higher than usual turnover rate (points for us), but also some receivers getting behind our DBs (points for them). dundunit
Expected this, really hoping that he can be healthy for next week but I doubt even if he plays that he will be as good as we hope he'll be.
pedro55
I'm wondering if this is like the Roddy White ankle issue last year. Lets hope not.
nycdan
If there had to be an opponent for Milliner to miss, OAK is as good as any. No excuses. Get him ready for GB in week 2.
JetsFanInDenver
Rushing Milliner back was never going to be a good option. Given the position he plays i would rather he be 100% fit. So not surprised he is out this week.
RutgersJetFan
It's Derek Carr. If we were playing Green Bay me thinks he would play.
Jettington
I think Milliner could play if he had to, Rex is just really confident we won't need him against Carr, we'll see.

jack48
it will probably be a sloppy game. both teams scoring int he 20s. Jets win but Raiders score one late.

Greenseed4
Why aren't we making a move for a corner still?Contracts signed after week 1 aren't guaranteed. My guess is that's the aim. Not a bad idea if we're shooting for an injury-prone and/or has-been CB. Can you imagine the posts we'd have to read if we signed someone who didn't work out? On edit: wait, that would be you. We have $20mm in cap space why not sign a few guys and immediately trade them for high draft picks.

stevegrunder
This is such a non issue. I don't think Carr will have more than 5 opportunities to throw the ball downfield the whole game. Our front 7 is going to destroy the Raiders, I think I can play CB on Sunday and it would not matter.
