A lot of new rules at MetLife

The following are prohibited at MetLife Sports Complex:

  • Bicycles
  • Skateboards
  • Rollerblading
  • Motorized scooters
  • Go-karts
  • Mini bikes
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Drones, model aircraft, kites, any other remote controlled or tethered flying objects 
  • Solicitation of any kind
  • Selling access to a tailgate party to members of the general public either in advance of or on the day of an event.
  • Selling of products or merchandise. Only Delaware North Companies staff is authorized to sell products or merchandise in the parking lots on game days.
  • Banners or signage recognizing businesses or products may not be displayed.
  • The placing of flyers/brochures on vehicles
  • Ball playing in the parking lots and roadways. This is a safety hazard; many injuries occur as a result of these activities.

How can you do all of that ?  Its not like it impacts safety or anything else, but its not good for business.

 

Don't you know the only way the JETS can get its cut of the money if you buy food at overpriced rates from autorized stands, buy products and merchandize from the one company authorized to sell it and beetch please pay us for any advertising you might do.

Wonder how that impacts Tailgate Joe and others. Jets are basically cutting those guys off unless they wet their beak. The Couch beckons.

Some of those are not enforced or ignored

 

seriously doubt they care about most of this (minus the selling merchandise and weapons) but the ball playing, etc. is just to have something to point to when some dumbski sues metlife after breaking a leg tossing the pigskin around.

One guy we used to go with did in fact totally destory his knee tossing the ball around.He did not sue.

Apparently, cornerbacks for the home team are also not permitted at MetLife.
