You forgot the pic in the red zone, or 7 trips into the red zone with little results against a depleted secondary.  Gosh this was a bad QB show for the Jets

I did forget initially. But this was the knock on him...the turnovers..I said that when he came out of college...It is not fixable IMO as he makes the same exact mistakes over and over.

"Fastest way to lose games is turnovers and poor DB play"....that was a quote from Rex Ryan a while back ago. We had plenty of both tonight. I still think Geno is to blame, but so is Idzik for that secondary roster, so is Marty for terrible red zone play calling, chris johnson sucked, refs blew two calls that cost us a 14 point swing (the PI and the Fumble). All in all, we suck.

The jets can and will win with both. Idzik hasent had time to get all the personnel he wants yet, which will come with time. Look what he did to Seattle with a ton of 3rd-6th round draft picks, which gives reason to believe he will do the same for NYJ. As for Geno, he will be fine. Biggest problems have been decision making which is correctable. Don't forget this is one his SECOND year. He is moving the ball a lot better these last two weeks with the same (irrelevant) weapons he has had last season. The bigger problem may be on Mornhinweg's atrocious play calling in the red zone, or lack of go to guy in the red zone. Maybe I'm wrong about Geno, but giving up on him week 3 of his sophomore campaign is not the answer. Give Idzik his time and picks in the next 2-3 years and things will be on the rise for us jets fans

Pretty sure on some of those passes Geno would have overthrown Alonzo Mourning if he was standing on Shaqs shoulders.

Until idzik drafts two players and human centipedes them together feet to shoulder, we cant blame geno for not having weaponzzz.

Fair enough. Then also remember how Seattle fans were most Likly saying the same thing about Idzik when he drafted the LOB (Thomas,Chancellor, Sherman) in just two drafts., and made a 7-9 8-8 football team to an elite squad

I remember when pats drafted brady in the 6th. When colts sucked in the perfect year to replace one generational talent with another after only one down year. When eli played two good games in his life... And they happened to be superbowls. And whenever i allow myself the indulgence of thinking "hey... Maybe one of those thing could happen to us..." I remember that i am a jets fan and get back to drinking ASAP.

Idziot was NOT the Seattle GM. He was just on their staff and had the role of a Tannenbaum, not a personnel decision maker.

@Jolot,@pdxgreen

People are acting like Idzik didn't pull a boner with Geno.  That it isn't a big deal.  "All we lost

was a second round pick....." not that we've been basing our entire future on what is basically

a CFL quarterback.

Not to mention the season he threw copletely away last year and the one he will throw away this year.
