He knows the players, knows the offense and could also be gotten rid of in a year if he sucks. If we were looking for a long term HC, Sherman wouldn't be a bad choice. Reeves and Kubiak are tight from Kubiak's days as a player. I think Kubiak to the Texans is a done deal after the Bronco's season is over. I loved Mike Singletary as a player, but what about experience? He is very bright, and would command respect. I'd like to see him added to the coaching staff and maybe groomed as a future head coach. Mike Sherman doesn't have the personality for NY. he barely had the personality for Wisconsin. Dinger would be good. I think promoting him would be a nice move. From what I hear, that means a new defensive coordinator though. Dinger and Henderson do not have the same philosophy and don't get along that well. Cowher is a lifer. He has already survived losing all those free agents, a couple of losing seasons, and several seasons where he lost the AFC Championship game, at home.
