Mark My words Woody is going to Fire Rex at seasons end and let the Moron Idzik Pick our next head coach while he continues to destroy our roster. other than the defensive line this team is one of the worst in the history of the franchise and yes that includes the 96 team that had plenty of talent just a bad HEad Coac

JoeWilly: Boycotting the game hurts no one but the guy who spent the money on the ticket. You want to hurt someone bad and really make them FEEL something? Consider putting a bag over your head for a few minutes each quarter. Just think about how that would go over on national Television, and you KNOW they would show it and then re-show it a thousand times over on ESPN and the NFLN. There is nothing worse or in our case, BETTER that can be done to make Woody Johnson feel what we Jets fans are feeling. he can't make you take off the bag head that will make HIS leadership look so awful just like we can't do a thing about him not spending that 25 million of unused cap $$$ that would make the team 4  or 5 starters BETTER.

Time for a fan revolt sell the tickets to Broncos fans or burn them in the fire pit

Woody needs to see an empty stadium or a stadium full of Broncos fans otherwise nothing changes

This is a wonderful idea from a guy who does not have tickets.  How about I sell you my tickets at face value and then you boycott?  Sound good?

Think of the money you will be saving food, gas, tolls, wear and tear on your car and most of all less aggravation. If you invested in season tickets and psls you know what its like to lose money what's a few more bucks.

It's always nice when you can advise others to make a financial sacrifice when you have no skin in the game yourself.  While I will have to miss the game anyway on Sunday, I will be there the rest of the season rooting for my team no matter how bad it gets.

I already paid for my tickets. If I didn't want to go, I would sell them. Why should I (all fans) lose more money over this?  I get what you are saying but sorry, I will be there on Sunday. :)

more effective to go to the game, and get a social media movement going where at a specific time, everyone in the stands turns their backs to the field for a full minute in total silence. that says "we love our team, and here we are, but there are some things we cannot and will not tolerate."

Yes. As he should.

....while he continues to destroy our roster.

How is our roster "destroyed" vs. last year? Last I checked we signed the best FA WR and QB (in an admittedly weak field), and drafted the need most agreed we had (D-backfield) and WR.

Sure, it's painful that our CB got hurt, and the WR's all failed to pan out, and that's on idzik, no doubt.

But I'm hard pressed to see a "destroyed roster" today vs. what Idzik inherited.

Geno, clearly, is the big roster problem, as he's a complete bust at the most vital position.

Of course, he was what was available, and a 2nd rounder, akin to "missing" on Kellen Clemens.

/shrug.

Dumping Rex and Geno will, if even average replacements can be found, show how wrong the "Jets have no talent" claim actually is.

Taken from another thread, a pro media article:

But what isn’t absurd is the criticism being lobbed in Idzik’s direction. As I stated in several columns over the last few weeks, Idzik cannot speak of contending and then approach an offseason the way he did this past one. Sure, he signed Eric Decker, Chris Johnson and Michael Vick, players that any team with the needs the Jets had would have targeted. But since the start it all seemed like a strictly cosmetic fix, something done to keep the wolves at bay.

So we acquired the best players at three positions viewed as needs, and drafted the BAP at Safety and CB.

But that's "cosmetic"?

Lets just say it, if you're mad with Idzik because he didn't go wild spending on names (and there were damn few names available), you do NOT believe in building through the draft and consistency and building for the long term.....you want Idzik to be Dan Snyder, to sign every big name, big dollar FA now to win now.

We were never winning now. Idzik knew that, and his few "compete" comments don't change that, fans need to stop buying PR-talk.

This year was all about Rex's Last Chance doing it the Rex Way.

And Rex has failed.

Now, we do what should have been done before, Rex is sh*tcaned, Geno is dumped as the busted 2nd round pick he was, and we try someone new instead of arguing for consistency (of mediocrity).

Will it work? who knows, probably not. But it's far from the abject failing (from a GM perspective) it's being made out to be. And we are NOT talentless. We're leaderless, and QBless, aye, and no one wins games without those two things no matter the talent level elsewhere.

Between the empty seats and those filled with Bronco fans, WOody Johnson is about to see what he has wrought with hiring idiots for GM and HC.

Woody's world needs to come crashing down on him the football product he owns sucks and now the fans revolt would be epic.

Ever wonder why Woody was forced out of the family business?

Get the red zone channel. Lots of great football will played next week, just none in green and white. But don't let this garbage head coach ruin football for you.

NY Jets football is what its all about for me watching other teams play pisses me off even more watching draft picks we let slip by and free agents we didn't sign or guys we let go.

Football Sundays and the NY Jets is it for many of us that's why we are so angry frustrated and pissed off.

It does have an effect. There is a ton of money that is lost with an empty stadium. And he doesn't already have (all) the money. There is a bunch of unsold seats.

Of course it's only my opinion, but I don't believe for a second he cares about single game sales. He wants people to buy season tickets and PSLs, for which he has the money already.
