Where will the Jets stand record wise on 12/01 after they play the Dolphins? I say 5 and 7.

1 Win - 6 Losses

10/26 Bills (Home)
11/2 Chiefs (Away)
11/09 Steelers (Home)
11/23 Bills (Away)
12/01 Dolphins (Home)

I say we split with Buffalo, we always seem to.

Kansas City rebounded nicely from that San Fran loss. Smith's been swaying back and forth this season but with our secondary I'd count on him having an up week. The one thing we have going for us in that game is that KC's o-line has been really bad in pass protection.

The Steelers look bad, but Tomlin kinda has Rex's number.

Who knows with the Dolphins. We've split with them for the past 3 years, but this team might be completely deflated by then.

I say 3-9. I know our schedule is lightening up here, but the Jets haven't even looked capable against bad to average teams. And if Geno's A-game is what we saw against New England, the only thing this team has going for us is still the d-line. And I'd love to say that the Decker/Harvin combo may help change things, but the problem is that Geno really has been that bad. Even if Harvin makes 3-5 plays a game I don't think it will be enough to overcome the detriment that he is to the team.

I'm on the record saying a 1-15 season is the best thing for our future at this point. That being said, without letting my hopes get in the way of my objectivity, I don't see how some of you people can watch the putrid brand of football we've been playing and see 0 or 1 losses at most over that stretch of time. Is anyone else watching the Steelers game right now? They're absolutely going to push our sh*t in. I don't see us going into Arrowhead and coming out with a win. The Bills and Fins are both playing like better teams than we are. 1-11 seems more likely than 6-6 to me, but realistically we'll probably pull out a win or 2 due to dumb luck if nothing else - if we do, it'll likely be the Fins and/or one of the Bills games, since we usually split with those two.

Jets are 9-3 against the Bills in the last 12 games. How is that splitting? Not sure why that notion floats around so much.

I agree, I think 5-7 too. That is a very soft schedule, and we are much more talented than the rex apologists are crying. This team should be at least 3-4 right now against a brutal schedule to start the season.
