Fair enough, but it's the NY media, so they still probably would have tried to cite a Geno benching as part of the reason for the Jets getting raped in that game, or some such laughable nonsense. Larz Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 One yer we benched Braylon Edwards for an entire quarter for a alleged DUI. Then the story for a week was how it was not enough. A few months down the road a Giants player got a DUI. Didn't hear much noise about it. No national news story. No fake outrage. The silence in the sports media was deafening. So punishing Geno would not have been an end to the story. Then the story would be if the punishment was enough or not.
