I think McDougle was picked way ahead of where he should have and he may as yet contribute to the JETS cause.

 

The 4th rounders WR's were awful and Jermiah George which was a need based pick.

 

Knowing what could have been makes me hate our middle round picks exponentially more.

Not on this board - instantaneous all knowing  and immediate assessment is the way. You see, rookies never learn and get better and they never recover from injuries particularly when they are drafted by Idzik.

Campbell in 2013 and Saunders in 2014 were surefire UDFA's.

The Jets are so screwed at the CB position. When drafting brittle players such as Milliner and McDougle, they at least hadn't had any leg injuries. Now with Milliner's Achilles and McDougle's ACL, it's impossible to rely on either of them going forward.

Too long for me to read all that. The bottom line is he had a good plan, but can't draft and he's too thrifty in FA considering he can't fill holes through the draft. Idzik.sucks. Rex did get a raw deal this year on.talent but he should have been fired before we hired a new GM and we could have got a real one. We're a cluster **** because of our owner, every problem has his fingerprints all over it.
